I wish I watched more NCAA. I don't really know any of these guys

I'm in too deep, 24/7. There are plenty of other things more important tbh.

Pick a few teams, players and start following. Just start anywhere.

You're continuously wrong. Draft Twitter and filled with people cutting up film. Some A22. I just got a bunch of 2 coaches a few months ago. There's a ton of tape available and more info out there than ever.
There are very few if any real sleepers to true draft geeks.

First off, anybody that actually knows a damn thing would be employed in the business college scouting high school recruits or Pro. Secondly, even the people that get paid to find NFL caliber talent for a living struggle with every available resource at their disposal.

All you have is another opinion like everybody else on this board.

1)Presentation > Results.
You can look around in any field and see people who have no idea what they're talking about making the most money. SAS, Skip, Parker, Wright and many, many others make millions off being wrong and getting people upset.
No difference if the draft community. Kiper, Matt Miller etc It doesn't matter who knows what.

2)Many of those jobs don't pay well and you're constantly fighting to stay relevant. Every other week someone from PFF or someone from Twitter is looking for a new job. I'm not bragging by any means but I make more than most at 100-110K doing what I do.

Expanding off 2 its incredibly hard to male money doing this. I'm not a good writer or even a writer. Teams have plenty of genius X&O types way past my level.

All I can offer is my grades and knowledge of the game/prospects. I suppose someone could question the latter, although that would silly if we're being honest. There aren't many who know college prospects as well as I do and again I'm not saying that bragging its the truth.
What you can't argue with are results and my grades are better than just about anyone out there.

I don't mind saying that I have an uninformed opinion compared to all of the draftniks that post here. I watch 4-5 college games a week and maybe an hour of highlights total. That adds up to knowing the obvious: good teams from bad and good players from less good players and that's about it.

I enjoy my 2-3 weeks of filling up on the opinions in the draft forum. It's enlightening and humbling because of the numbers of players to know and stack. And then there's the ridiculous attempt to guess who BB is going to draft.

I wouldn’t be ready to move on quite yet.

malaise drafting a WR early seems pretty likely. The dream of bringing back Brady and bringing in Beckham, Diggs and Hooper to be some super team is impossible. It’s more likely a third round WR and a guy like Devin Funchess. Enjoy

You're like 0-3 so far. And like most of your post you're just saying things that don't make sense. Anything specific bc this barely makes sense??

I understand others try to become draft experts 2 months before the draft.
That's obviously not me. And obviously you don't frequent the draft forum or you'd know this. Anyone that reads my post or pm me asking me about a certain prospect does so knowing I'm different than most out there. It's my opinion from my research or knowledge.
And again my draft grades reflect that more than anything else. Another thing you haven't looked at. They're different than most I've researched come across. There's a thread about them and another member is looking at them to see how good or if I am any good at grading prospects.

All the names we're hearing now, like Jefferson, Trautman, Love, Proche etc were identified as P-TP (Patriot-Type Prospects) before the year even started. Long before all the media started talking about them.

I need a lot of help but not when it comes to the draft.

I'm still excited about Harry. He had everything going for him as a prospect. Played half a season after being hurt. On this team? That's not an easy ask at all. Let's give him an entire year before calling him a bust or saying he sux.

Most NFL scouts get paid five figure salaries and have like a tremendously ****ty work-life balance. I don't know why anyone would think that people who understand football well would actively choose to work in football; in fact it's rather the opposite. One need only look at the kinds of nitwits who end up coaches in the NFL to concede that you're merely looking at the cream of a very bad crop.

27 still looks like a better position than their usual, I know at 23 you can still pick a premium player who slid for any number of reasons and in my opinion that slot is where you kind of close the door on the legit 1st rounders and from 25 on you're already in that gray area where players are borderline 1st ou 2nd rounders with the advantage of the 5th year, unless it's a very rich class of course. Last time BB got a pick in the early 20's he got Wynn, not exactly hit it out of the park.

That would be massively overpaying according to the chart. 23 is equal to 38+70, the 6th pick in the 2nd and 3rd rounds.

In theory, 27+59 gets all the way up to pick 16.
