I know I won’t. This league is going to go tits-up too.

I have tickets to the DC game on March 8 and open question whether the league will still exist at that point.

It has never interested me .........

It won’t. The demand just isn’t there except for a few fanatics. There’s no way the revenue the league will bring in will cover its costs. I’d say it will last one season or less. People use the time after the NFL season completes to get projects around the house done, spend more time with the family, etc. And that doesn’t even touch on the quality of the game on the field.

I was confused and did a wiki search on XFL.

Vince McMahon started XFL in 2001 and it failed within a year.

Vince McMahon started the new XFL in 2020.

I wonder what he figured out in the 19 years in between?

I think the league will last the season. McMahon has the money to burn on a vanity project, unlike the AAF guy, who was cobbling it together with duct tape (and then failed to pay anyone anyways). But yeah I don't think it will last beyond a year.

My fav part of the AAF fail : watching Polian BOTH fail & leave network tv !

I'll watch a little because it's football.

I would love for it to succeed because fuk the 32, even when compared to Vinnie Mac.

Unfortunately, two seasons is their ceiling.

I may or not. Depends if I remember or if I have something else going on at the time. I'd like to, but it's not like it takes precedence over anything else.

No. Honestly, my wife would kill me if I started watching more football than I already do...

Have I entered a wormhole in the universe where I’ve aged slower than everyone, and the XFL hasn’t already folded?

They’re rebooting it.

Bill Belichick will be watching. Looking for someone to pull off the scrap heap to sign.

Maybe our next WR, provided he’s a man who obeys laws and treats women with the respect they deserve.

If it's on and I am lounging on the couch with nothing good to stream....then I'll watch....

I may give it a look in its second weekend, but I can't watch it this weekend.

From the tone of the responses, it sounds like this league’s got... no chance. No chance in Hell.

If it gets off to an entertaining start, people will turn it on.

That was Vince McMahon’s theme song. I don’t see this league doing any better than the first iteration. Maybe it will be less ridiculous and over-the-top, but I just don’t think the demand is there.
