Cancer part II (Go Fund Me Added)

Donation made, keep fighting Sammy!

It’s not a core element of a healthy care plan it’s a solution to debt for people who cannot afford it.
It does not set them back permanently it absolves them of debt they cannot afford.
What is the alternative? Please don’t tell me you think the solution is to our health care in the hands of a government agency so they everyone’s health care can go to crap like the VA.

EDIT: This thread is about Sammy. I responded to a way off topic comment and I’m going to walk away from debating it in this thread because that’s not what should be happening here.

"Walk away" on principle only counts if you don't get in the last word before doing so.

I dearly appreciate the support that I am receiving.
Support includes funds however those who cannot give also provide
emotional and spiritual support. While few of us have actually met,
and some of you will think this is crazy, but I feel as though calling each other
strangers is not accurate as our hearts have been knit together by our love for a team
and to some extent love for a region of the country.

Thanks!!!

Some of my work is in scientific organizations, teaching really bright people how to help each other. (The intelligence often gets in the way, so they need a unique kind of support.)

At the end of the day, the people who were given opportunity to provide help express even more gratitude than the people receiving it.

And, none of it happens without someone having the courage to say, "Hey, I could use some help."

You've brought a little light into all of our lives, by asking us to bring a little into yours.

The "thanks" goes both ways.

Now, this is fun to be able to say with a literal meaning: Go and get your *** well!

Get better soon Brett!

Donated...get well Sammy !

Several of you encouraged me to do this and I was hesitant until I learned that I would miss at least 6 weeks from work.

Of course no one owes me anything.

Prayer is of course free.

Surgery is on the 28th, and I would encourage people to visit however I doubt anyone lives nearby :(

God Bless!

Brett (Aka Sammy Blue Cat)

Sammy, I wish I could help you, but I am swamped with my own medical and prescription bills. I wish you the very best.
Thoughts and prayers.

Donated—but I wish that I could afford more, Sammy. You have been in my prayers for a little while now.

Didn’t see this before, Sammy. My apologies. I just dropped a little donation in there for ya. Best of luck, bud. You’ll beat it. Know why? Because you’re not allowed to die. If you die, I’ll beat your ass. So beat this thing’s ass.

I dunno if it helps, but I'm going to the DMV tomorrow.
say the rosary beforehand and ask God to have mercy on your poor, doomed soul....

Don't forget to bring your driver's license, social security card, passport, birth certificate, registration, and a notarized letter from your landlord.

But then they'll ask you, in a governmental "I don't give a shyt" tone, for a certified bank statement mailed to your current address. Of course you won't have that because you've been receiving electronic bank statements since a decade ago and the only mail you get are coupon fliers, "current resident" stuff and a couple of "happy family" Christmas cards from some future divorcee.

But don't worry you'll get your car registered, or whatever, during the next trip or two. And while it might suck that the trips cost you about a grand in missed work wages you'll feel therapeutically relieved that you'll have something registered in the state you're probably leaving in a couple of years.

Good luck and have fun.

Good luck Brett

Show me where the government hurt you, my son.

Done.

Will pray as well.

Cancer lacks the quickness to catch Sammy.
