I self-sanctioned, reported, removed, and warned myself for one of my posts in the casual chat thread. I’m taking a more proactive approach in 2020.

I reported myself, banned myself, called myself a coward hiding behind a computer, challenged myself to a fight offline, kicked my ass, called a cop, and sued for battery.

Not football related. I used to visit a reality tv messageboard (based on the show Survivor) that also covers tv shows and miscellaneous things such as politics and current events. There are mods but only for spoilers everything else is a free for all. Literally the slogan is “Outflame”. It was a super popular and honestly one of my favorite boards of all time until they moved to tapatalk and most people abandoned it for reddit.

That type of thing just wouldn’t work here. It takes some thick skin to stick around that place and we have too many snowflakes who get upset, whine about moderating and block people over small arguments. If someone made a dramatic post about how they were upset with something and departing from the forum they’d have been mocked mercilessly on the way out.

Some of the funniest and best threads I’ve ever read came from that place.

I laugh when I see that word ...
I grew up in the 60's ... and those mf'ers had no chance ...
we ruined them over and over again.
Feel guilty sometimes ... and sometimes not ... it was fun.
Hopefully we prepared them better for the tough world out there.

Reopen the Political board and make it unmoderated with the only rule that if anyone even suggest any kind of harm toward anyone whether they are a member or not, complete ban from the site.....
