NFL GAME DAY DISCUSSION AFCCG Game Day Thread: Titans @ Chiefs

Might want to take your own advice there.

No one with a working prefrontal cortex agrees with this nonsense. Brady is not making Patrick Freaking Mahomes look mediocre. One of Mahomes' greatest strengths is his mobility, which allows him to make a majority of the plays that he does. It's not always about personnel; how you use the guys you have is more important.

Let's be clear-- Brady's numbers took an absolute nosedive when we lost guys on offense, no doubt about it. But that also had a lot to do with the line not giving him time-- THIS IS PRECISELY WHAT MAHOMES THRIVES AT. The Chiefs' line is nothing to write home about and they have Patrick under duress a lot, but the kicker is that he's athletic and can escape long enough for his Usain Bolt-like receivers to get open. Brady would throw the ball in the dirt.

You're trying to compare a QB with a team that relies on its defense to one that is all offense, and state that the QB with the better defense would thrive in the offensive scheme-- it's like you've never watched football a day in your life. Football is more than players-- it's scheme. It's coaching. It's strategy. Brady could have been more successful in KC than he was with the Patriots, but making Patrick Mahomes look mediocre is a Stretch Armstrong level reach. You simply don't know what you are talking about.

You seem like you have a mediocre level of football IQ

Pray the Niners win. Mahomes will get swarmed by that defense. They will beat Kansas City.
Ehhhhh I think they’ll get raped. Badly. I don’t think that rush is going to get home in enough time. If it doesn’t, they’ll feast on that secondary. And that’s not even considering the fact that at least one Jimmy G Special will end up in KC’s arms going the other way.

Tough PI call there. Guy never turned but he did not hit the WR either. Should have been a no call.

Mahomes gets away with a lot of throw aways that are rrreaaaaalll close to being intentional grounding

Why are they throwing anyway. Run the clock down

What an abomination of a dpi call. I’m done with this **** show. Mahomes is a good player& I’m happy for him, but Hill is a POS & lets be honest- they really didn’t beat us this year. Officiating is bull.

I don't think so. Chiefs are mentally tough. They are battle-tested.

So they won’t get pummeled. But they’ll come up short. Packers would be an easy win for them. Niners way better with their pass rush and secondary, and they’ll score enough points.

Time to jump on the Chiefs bandwagon, and I assume any rational poster here will do the same. No one should want either NFC team to win the SB.

Not sure what is so rational about rooting for the chiefs to win the SB.

60 yard penalty for abusing a ref please?

So the Titans had about 1:40 worth of time stolen from them

I can't believe this garbage Chiefs team is going to the SuperBowl

If that was the Pats a flag would of been thrown for roughing the referee.

Conference pride?! What are we, SEC fans?

No. The Chiefs are harmless. They'd only have 2 SBs, and that would be nothing more than adorable.

The Packers would have 5 if they win, and worse, the 49ers would have 6 if they do so.
