Cowboys seem to be all in on Dak Prescott. They aren’t going to throw him to the curb for a couple of seasons with Brady. If I was Brady I would go play for Dallas. He can take those losers to the promised land and I think Jerry Jones knows that. We'll see how gassed he is with a stud OL, stud RB, and real WRs. Meanwhile I expect BB and Josh to fall flat on their faces with at max an 8-8 record. The NFCW is going to steamroll us in full rebuild mode next year. Ball washers here think Stidham can carry the torch? Like it's that easy. Many on this board in are in for a rude awakening.
Nope.Don’t they still have another home in the area?
I know you are saying that but you have failed to present a cogent argument to support it.
I read every single one of your posts. You're just talking out of your ass, is all.
Moving is a sign that he's gone, but moving to someplace where the nearest football competitors already have their QBs, and only the Patriots are both in driving range and need a starter doesn't matter, because he can get a place.
Of course, he can get a place near Gillette, too, but that seems to be missing from the post.
Nitpick because this is the Internet...I am not going to buy into anything until Brady opts out of his contract on March 18th. Until then, the Pats still have a very good shot at re-signing him.
Hard to tell who's serious and who's not. If you believe he sucks now then that's at least a good take. At least it's not "he should play for what we say he should or leave".he should retire.............
IMHO, cleaning out the suite, the locker, etc, isn't indicative of Brady going anywhere. Since he's effectively a free agent, the rules might well dictate that since he's no longer an employee of the NEP, that he can't be at the facility.
His summers weren't here anyway. He spent them in Big Sky, MT.The move means nothing except that his summers and his post football location clearly won't be in the Boston area. It's the same reason he stepped down from some of those charities, not because he may not be here in September, but because he won't be here in the summer. No matter where he plays he needs to rent a place. This all means nothing. For all we know the wife said you can keep playing but we have to move, or he wanted to be closer to his older son, or whatever.
Do we know his kids go to school? They may be home schooled?wait wait...
1) brookline home IS NOT sold yet. it's listed. as Brady said, its a long process to sell expensive homes.
2) surprised he would move 2 school aged kids mid-school year
3) the cleaned out suite is hearsay
he could be preparing for life outside of NE, but we're reading too much into these reports.
They could have just went to their NEW HOME for the holidays
Nitpick because this is the Internet...
It’s not an opt-out for either side, it’s a void of the final year unless both sides agree to a renegotiation.
Brady could 1000% want to come back but if NE isn’t willing to sign him the contract terminates. Same vice versa. Heck, even if both sides want him to come back but can’t agree on terms the contract terminates.
The one certain thing is that the existing final year of the contract will never be played. The contract must either be renegotiated or terminate.
You’re really on top of things. Thank you.
If coming back to NE was the first thing on his mind, why would he sell his place in Boston and move to CT right after a playoff exit? Sure, he could easily buy a place in Boston in a few months...but why not wait it out until he has a signed contract? Why pull his kids out of school?
