If I had to list my top 100 preferred outcomes for next season, numbers 1 through 99 would involve Brady still being here.
But if I'm being honest with myself, there is that 1% of me that is SUPER curious what it will look like with him gone, and what Belichick's strategy will be to cope with it. He went 11-5 with Matt Cassel, with that being an emergency situation they didn't plan for. I would want to see how they try to build the team, and what method they use to find a replacement QB (even if it's not meant to be the longterm successor).
Again though, that's a small part of me that would be interested from a storyline perspective. And, should it happen, I fully expect to be raked over the coals in a "careful what you wish for" fashion.
