Where are the famed sociologists @Biffins, @venecol and others now???????

Seriously HOW BLIND can some people be? This was the obvious progression several months ago. PT Barnum was right. There's one born every minute.

.

I don't give a sh$%*t about his or any other players personal lives. If they get in trouble with the law, then they need to face the consequences. This has nothing to do with football.

How did the Patriots playoff run go this season? I forgot.

Football??? Kontra, the guy is on his way to being a danger to society and himself.

Get a grip. He would have blown himself up in Norwood before the end of October.

Aren't you paying attention?????

The Pats made a lot of mistakes this season. Cuttings Antonio Nicole wasn't one of them.

The problem is that, in the past 10 months, 4 NFL teams (now, the Saints) experienced exactly HOW his lack of any impulse control directly affects his football career.

He screws everything that is in his reach.

The people who still don't get that want to invest with Bernie Madoff.

How’d they do, though? Are they still playing? I forget. If they’re not still playing, what was the reason?

I answered that already. They made a lot of mistakes. It's right there in black and white in the post you are quoting.

Getting rid of this suicidal maniac (maybe not his fault, because of the CTE, so I do have sympathy for him) wasn't one of them.

What were those mistakes? Can you name a few of them? I’m aware of the mistakes at TE and DT, but where else? Was the offense absolutely loaded at the skill positions outside of TE? I forget. I’ve had a long weekend.

I've already enumerated the coaching staff issues regarding the 4 long-term in the system experienced ones who left (Flores, Daly, O'Shea and Schuplinski) replaced by novice coaches Troy Brown and Jerod Mayo, then the ascendance of Steve Belichick and the 1st year in the system of Bielema.

The TE's.

The OL mass retirement ceremonies (did Scar have bad breath?)

The unnecessary playing of Edelamn, Brady and others in the Bengals game.

No coach telling Bailey to kick out towards the sideline during the playoff game 3 times when he was kicking from Tennessee territory.

...and several more (I'm on a call right now and am multi-tasking).

But this thread is about the impending suicide/homicide and or asylum entrance of Antonio Nicole.

Letting go of AB was absolutely not one of them.

1. Trading Thomas before we even knew whether AB was going to fit in.
2. Not replacing Chad O'Shea. Pats coaches are already famously over-worked, how was Joe Judge supposed to do the job of two people?
3. Trading for Michael Bennett rather than a D-Lineman who fits in the Pats scheme.

They also had some unique situations that were hard or impossible to anticipate:

1. Dave Andrews getting blod clots
2. Three other OL retiring
3. Hall of Fame TE retiring at the last minute
4. Two fullbacks going on IR within a month

This is all true. It makes the decision to rely on Brown in the first place all that much worse. It makes the decision to release Brown before the NFL ruled much worse.

Oh my god how in the F!CK do you guys keep talking about this. You've all made the same points a billion times. Enough.

Now, if you want to review why benching Malcolm Butler was a colossal blunder again, I'm there.

Let's start a Deion Branch thread.

Randy Moss?

...Tara Reid?

Hey, I'm trying here...

@shmessy with some absolutely terrible posts in this thread. Christ. He’s gone now, though. Out like a fart in the wind once the team became mediocre.

Ugh - let's get back to burying this thread. We talked about him enough when he was sort of relevant. We can let this one sink back down where it belongs ;)
