If Goodell tried to suspend BB, what matters is the language in BB’s contract, the NFL agreement among owners, and normal contract law.

I'll go to my grave defending the Patriots against all of their 'scandals' but I can't defend any of this even though I'm also a Red Sox fan. I guess that shows I can be objective and judge things based on evidence instead of homerism?

(I haven't actually gone through all the Red Sox evidence yet so if anyone is mounting a vigorous defense of them I haven't seen it).

Lol far from it. I've seen hundreds of posts and heard thousands of radio calls saying that this is what the Patriots deserved, that the NFL went soft on us blah blah blah. It's an Astros story a separate sport yet we are still in the spotlight.

If Sox did what is being alleged after being told to desist then they deserve a similar penalty to the Astros. Illegally obtaining signals and using that info in real time is what Spygate was "sold as" to the public but not actually true.
