Josh McDaniels News and Rumors

I never said that. I said he should take the Cleveland job because the risk of staying here in NE is too great regardless of who the QB is for NE. His choices are take the CLeveland job or stay here and hope for a better opportunity in 2021.
There is no risk in staying here. If he gets offered the job he takes it declines it on its own merits. The fallback position is the fallback position not part of the decision.

Sorry, if I'm Josh, I'm bolting for Cleveland if that's all Brady's telling me right now. There would be too much uncertainty surrounding NE's offense. Assuming that Haslam offers the keys to the Browns to McD and that Josh's interview is not a disaster, the Browns would make more sense for him.

couldn’t disagree more, Cleveland is a toxic job because the owner listens to too many people and constantly changes his mind. Also, Baker is not all that he was cracked up to be.

With DePodesta still having Haslams ear, it’s a pretty safe bet that whomever Cleveland hires won’t last 3 years.

I say he stays here and leaves for Houston to join caserio in 2021 after BoB is fired.

I would disagree. A bad New England offense next year without Brady is going to reflect on him. Is it fair? No, but other teams looking for HCs want to see the most recent results.

Hiring history in the nfl conflicts with that.

And it’s about wins not statistics that don’t result in wins.
Thank you, Captain Obvious, but I can't exactly criticize the offensive coordinator for how inept the head coach was. So when I see the #6 scoring offense in the League, I think there's a good chance the OC did a good job.

Until you look at the inconsistency. They scored 15 or fewer in a quarter of their games including 9 in the biggest game of the year against a weak Philly defense.
With the talent they have on offense, arguably the best OL in the league and the best rb in the league and the receivers they have 6th isn’t exactly what I consider a great coaching job.
Everyone is saying the patriots offense was incompetent and they were 7th less than a point per game behind.

Not many places left for Josh McD. Looks like he's coming back. That increases the chances Brady comes back. This is good.

Dallas, Giants, Panthers and Skins have hired coaches. Cleveland looks like the only spot left. That appears to be the job he coveted and Haslam supposedly loves him. Not sure what the hold up is. Maybe DePodesta. Maybe terms. Maybe authority. Maybe the Pats.

Maybe the fact his interview hasn’t taken place yet?

Cleveland was supposedly his dream job not sure he is back.
I’m not sure those words have ever been spoken in the history of mankind...

No one ever has said that. Not even in a lunatic asylum

What if Jim Schwartz have a blow you away type interview??

Stefanski (DePodesta's guy) and Schwartz still to go before McD. Word in Cleveland media is that McD is still #1 and Haslam will fire DePodesta as part of the deal.
