Uh yeah because Brown has the NFLPA at his disposal. He wasn’t an employee, so what use does a union have to back a non-employee who has every right to sign?

You’re now defending the NFL and Goodell on their transparency...I’ve seen it all. Lmao give me a break.

And we've seen the power of the NFLPA when it comes to investigations and the league's power to punish players. Brady sure had the NFLPA behind him and got nowhere. Plus threatening women is a huge optics issue for the league. They would have exempt him, not suspended, from playing until they completed an investigation at the time of their choosing . You don't follow how the league has screwed players.

The worst season in recent memory. I expected them to win but the offense had no life in it, oh well. It's a new decade and its time to get with the time. This team is gonna need some major retooling.
Not really. As terrible as they look, if they had AB, that offense would have been light years better than what we saw out there. They can retool this off season. For their future, getting eliminated earlier may be a good thing for them. BB needs new blood around him as well. The coaching nest has become too thin.

Not only that, but there's the trickle down effect. With Brown and Thomas on the team, you can rest Edelman and get him healthier. With Brown and Thomas on the team, you don't need to trade for Sanu. Etc...

Sanu’s last 5 games. 1 for 11, 3 for 35, 3 for 24, 2 for 13, 1 for 13. It gets worse before that as well. Harry ‘a numbers are similar. These are the two guys what where getting all snap counts ahead of Meyers and dorsett. That’s underwhelming if you asked me.

I actually think the defense needs a ton of work. Hightower, McCourty twins, Harmon are all getting long in the tooth. This team is 2-3 years away from contending again assuming we draft well.

Remember, the dynasty Part 2 only happened in 2014-2018 because we nailed the 2010 and 2012 drafts. It takes time.

I think they need to address the safety position. Chung and McCourty are not getting it done back there.

None of this is easily fixed at this point. Edelman is a year older next year and beat to hell. Dorsett and Sanu are expendable, but someone has to play the position. Few TEs are great receivers AND great blockers. If you aren’t spending $25 million at QB, you have more money, but free agents are not looking to play with Stidham. And I think there will be other holes as well (Hightower?).

Not to avoid your post, but I'm not going to go too far down the rabbit hole until I see how the team handles its FAs.

And that investigation would’ve been done about a month ago and he’d been back on the field.

Again, you’re literally trying to sit there and tell me Goodell and his goon squad is transparent and fair and that Brown has been given a fair shake since he was cut, when its the furthest from the truth.

No one is calling Brown a model human being, but cutting him was the wrong move then and clear as day the wrong move now. If he gets expempted and suspended, once again, so what? He’d have been back by now and the Pats would be on their bye week.

You can keep going around in circles with me if you’d like, but you can’t win this argument without concluding that the NFL is “fair” and “impartial” which is completely false.

Sanu sucks and anyone who hasn’t figured that out yet isn’t too bright.

Yep. Unfortunately, you're preaching to the choir. The man who needed to have the sermon get through to him is the man who made BB cut Brown in the first place.

Dude, you BUILT the rabbit hole with your own two hands. It’s a thing off odd beauty. You are the master and commander of the rabbit hole. Rabbits all over the world look at you like a jealous wife.

Good point. How could I forget about Chung, he’s cooked. I’m ok with McCourty for a year or two but we need to replace Chung now.

Clowntum Mechanic are you done trolling my posts?

You’ve already taken more L’s than I can count this season.

Take your wheelchair outside and get some fresh air.

I'm arguing that the NFL isn't impartial, reading comprehension isn't your strong point. And because of that, they can do what they want. Brown screwed himself and made himself damaged goods. The league wasnt letting him play period and can drag the investigation out as long as they want. Unless you're Goodell in disguise, you dont know **** about the investigation timeline that would have played out

Chargers is a perfect fit. Great young TE, outside weapons and a better James White in Ekeler as well as Gordon.

There are several teams that have a talent fit (sufficient talent + money to bring in more to fill needs) and might theoretically have an opening and/or desire.

Vikings
Browns
Cowboys
Chargers
Titans
People have talked of the Bears, but I think that's a stretch.

But it's the other areas (coaching, location, owner) where there start to be problems.

And you literally don’t “know” he wouldn’t be playing if he was still on the roster, so thanks for concluding your equally as full of sh*t as you think I am...

Problem with your theory is, if he’s on a roster, the NFLPA can go ahead and sue the league if they stonewall Brown on their “investigation”.

They can’t sue if he’s totally free to sign with any team at any time, hence the league freezing him out.

It seems the lack of reading comprehension lies squarely in your court...

They have a tough schedule next year. If they don’t bring back brady could they be in play for trevor lawrence if they keep the team as it is with stidham as the QB.

Ray rice and Adrian Peterson were suspended indefinitely while the league was investigating and deciding how to please public opinion
