I’m not responsible for the inception of this inside joke, so this is the last time that I’m going to tease you about it. To be honest, I think it’s insensitive and douchey, particularly to anyone who is coming home from busting their ass at a blue collar job. I probably couldn’t even change a tire without messing something up.

But, here you threw us a big, slow, softball and I just couldn’t help but swing.

I gave you a funny rating but I was crying the whole time. It hurt Supa. It cut deep.

I think I'm going to step away from the forum for awhile until I feel like I can handle the interaction.

One year, back in the day, many in my circle of friends/ business associates were getting married and each tried to out do the other’s bachelor party. Five days in Cuba. Ski trip in the Swiss Alps. Costs Rica, Venezuela, Sweden. A week in Vegas was the least expensive bachelor party until you factored gambling losses. It was out of control and expensive.
Then the weddings, almost always at far away resort destinations.
Those “romantics” as you call them who were foolish enough to book later weddings that year were getting lower turnouts because the early season weddings had financially busted many in the group. Perpetually hung over and tapped out, many were growing a bit resentful at the end. The last straw for me was when I was sipping a beer with a groom behind a Catholic Church 30 minutes before his ceremony and the priest comes out and sees the groom taking a swig of beer. The priest informs the groom he cannot preside over his ceremony since the groom had been drinking.....and he was dead serious.... until....the groom promised to make an extra large donation..... and viola..... the priest’s conscience was suddenly clear.....shakedown complete.

It was my moment of clarity about the entire process

Yeah I’m actually more excited about that than the honeymoon. We had planned to go to the Bahamas but Dorian decided to take a massive dump on the island. So we’re heading to Hawaii. Charleston is a bad ass city. I’m planning on buying property up there in the future.
