20% of the posters on this board revel in the Pats struggles. Being able to repeat how bad Brady is or how BB is incompetent brings them joy. They want to show us "homers" how right they've been and finally open our eyes to their truth. Most are the same ones who buried the team last year and who turned the TV off down 28-3 to the Falcons. They have been right about 23% of the time during the Brady era and today is a day for them to gloat. Congrats to all of you for the Pats proving you right today.

And while you may think us homers are deluded, all of us know that substantial post season success is a long shot this year. Will not stop us from rooting hard for the team and thinking there is a chance until the final second ticks off the clock. I have been optimistic about this team winning about 99% of the time in the past 20 years and have fortunately been proven right more times than not.

This team has issues, Brady may be down to his last game in a Pats uniform next week. Some want to make sure they do not miss their chance to bash the greatest player in league history on his way out the door.
You're right.

I'm just sooooo disappointed with what we saw today. Brady was terrible, Gilmore was terrible, no names killing us... such an un-Pats game. I should probably go to bed.

Hats off to that semi troll who has been calling Tannehill much improved for weeks and that he just needed good coaching. I’d kick the tires on Tannehill while the rest of our talent is still in their prime, if and only if Brady and the Pats can’t figure things out.

I personally think Brady would be foolish to play another year - win or lose. But I am reminded of the ‘67 Packers - the dynasty that most resembles the Patriots. That team was on its last legs, went 9-4-1 in the regular season. If these Pats are closing a chapter, hope they close it like those Packers.

The only silver lining I see from the regular season losses is that the Pats should have beaten KC, Houston, and Miami...and they kept it close against Baltimore until the Edelman fumble. They were in every single game except maybe the Houston game where they scored 2 TDs in garbage tine.

What are the rules regarding game day lineups? Could the Pats sign AB 5 minutes before kickoff, leaving that bumbling idiot no time to throw him on the exempt list?
Has to be signed no later than the day before the game.

Like I said — be the 1969 Celtics.

They looked worse last year. Last year they got wrecked by bad teams.

THANK YOU.

So sick of the miserable losers who can’t wait to bury this team after everything they’ve done over the years.

Not sure if it's been mentioned but Titans had MM8 & Tanny on the field at the same time today.

*edit*
Did a quick back track on AJ Brown & came away saying 2 things. Man is he physical & playmaker. Very physical off the line. Will swipe & use his hands with no fear & brings that in route. Just has had a knack for the big play & definitely would have better #'s if QB was better early on. Really good at using leverage & the space around him. He's been awesome this year.

Also get ready for PA. Our 2nd level will have to stay disciplined all game bc its coming. Would be nice to get a few tipped balls.

We're getting the Saturday night game?

I’m not familiar with the story off the top of my head, but it’s hard to pin this on Brady’s injury after he had no limitations in practice (again) and just came off of a gem of a game.

Much like Mohamed Sanu, had this happened 3 weeks ago I’d be more inclined to buy what you’re trying to sell.

I don't know what to tell you apart from what Zolak claims to be some kind of lower body injury that required different shoes. Add in that Brady was running sprints on the sideline with the defense on the field as part of his warmup between series which he rarely does and something must have been up.

The alternative to all that is that he is healthy but his accuracy is totally shot to the pont where he can't even throw intermediate passes anymore and is pretty much done. If that is what you are believing then there is no point to even entertain the thoughts of an extension.

People keep blaming receivers for shoddy passes that are off the mark just because 1-2 of those that are somewhat catchable get dropped. The many more where he overthrows, underthrows or turns the ball over get glossed over. He almost screwed up the trick play to Roberts yesterday and it required a sensational catch by a LB to salvage a gimme play.

I don't understand how anyone can actually claim he is healthy when to me it is blatantly obvious he can't put any touch on his throws. But your mileage might vary..

Like I said in the GDT , the Patriots lost to a good team yesterday. YESTERDAY Miami was a good team , doesn't matter how they looked in other weeks, and yesterday they couldn't beat a good team. It happens.

I'll take my half full glass and see that this could be a blessing in disguise. This teams only hope is to catch fire at the right time like the Giants in 2011 and the Eagles a couple years ago. And for that, they need to play, and get some chemistry. I don't like this team chances coming out flat after a bye week. I know the injuries and etc...but in recent years they are not coming after the regular season bye week like they used to.

4 games to glory. In TB/BB we (I) trust.

We need to attack their D through the air. Adore we still banged up.

They have one of the most balanced offenses in the league. This is going to be a dog fight.

I have a feeling we'll see a similar game to 2009 season when we played Ravens at home and Ray Rice ran all over us right from the first play.

As good as our defense has been, they are giving up a ton of yards to good RBs and Henry is having a great season. Also, Tannehill and Fitzpatrick always do well against us. Win/lose they always move the ball well. Vrabel will have them ready to go.

Unfortnately for us, there isn't enough time to regroup and refocus before the wildcard game. That said, I am not giving up on this team. If history is any indication, we play well when our backs are against the wall. I hope we can win this one, even if it's by a point.

The fact that people are bringing up 2009 is really really sad. No comparison

It is one of the more lazy comparisons out there. Apart from playing on WC weekend there really is not much those teams have in common.

Miami is not a good team, the talent gap is ridiculous.
