I remember thinking, at the end of last season, that if we kept Gronk and the o-line kept up it's play (and Develin didn't get injured), we'd be doing this exact thing. Maybe not to the extreme that the Ravens are, but we'd run over teams and pick them apart with Brady on the play-action, or have the offense come out and score quick, and just smash the ball into defenses' faces while we dominate TOP.


Anyway, we're not lol. dangit.

I didn't watch the game, but that final score is pretty damn rough. And there isn't any over-the-top sarcasm indicator here to suggest you're joking. And you tend to be pretty objective in your analysis.

What I'm getting at here is, I can't tell if you're being serious or not. If you are serious, then how did the Jets have a chance? I need anything I can get to fuel more hope for a Pats W should they match up again.

Wow, this QB seems like a total loser and let down. What has he accomplished? (Probably nothing.)

My guess is you never even read the entire context of that quote, but even going with your incredibly angry reaction to it and assuming he was being overconfident, what does that have to do with anything? Is that quote effecting his performance? Do you even realize how much confidence is necessary to achieve the unchartered, unheard of success he has had?

In the first half, the Jets had multiple chances to score and tighten the game. But Darnold was too busy missing receivers and tossing picks to get it done.
