The press box is behind the visitors bench there so were they taping the backs of the Bengals coaches? Would be odd.
That’s actually worse. Now the narrative will be that they were trying to film callsheets.

This is a non-story. A couple of trolls are desperately trying to make it one. But it’s absolutely nonsense.

Fair enough, but it’s a long path from point A to point B for the more simple minded of us on here.

I'm just thinking of the Richard Jewell movie as therapy for me at this point......

So what? Deflategate was also absolute nonsense. How did that turn out?

Even if the Pats are cleared by the NFL, the NFL is going to take their sweet *** time and let this dominate the media for some time. This is the league that wouldn't allow the Pats to release the correct psi info and let false info spread like wildfire.

I'm already filled with rage because I know exactly what's happening.

The real victim today is journalism. Another Mort working for espn wont be punished for rushing to push a narrative, without all the facts, hinting at wrongdoing.

ESPN isnt news anymore, it's just ******** opinion. Keeping hacks like Mort and this chick, this organization deserves all the bleeding subs it gets.
Its been that way for years

Good point.

But once again, can't anyone in the stands behind the bench do that with a cellphone????

Why go into the pressbox, wearing Kraft Productions jerseys, set up a tripod right next to the Bengals personnel to do that???????

Diana Russini is going to have to do a lot better to call this one some sort of spy story.

.

It's legal to film anywhere on the field from an approved location (the press box is an approved location). Though, I don't know if they actually have to get approval for doing it. They got approval from the Browns for videotaping the scouting thing, but probably not filming the field/sidelines.
Actually, Bill said it wasn't an approved location. But he also denied that it had anything to do with any part of the football team pretty definitively.

Yeah, but they've laid off half their workers and the survivors are fighting for the remaining scraps.....so there IS A God.

Even the people in this board are now starting to be ridiculous. A bob kraft thing? A **** up? It's nothing at all. Who the hell uses signs? The camera is pointing towards the field and now it's spygate? Sounds pretty much like the first one. This is absolute nonsense. The crew were in the press box with bengals employees give me a break.
Actually, another thing Bill said is that the base play is sent in via the mic and then it's modified based on hand signals.

Remember the good ‘ol days when people thought the league was going to hammer the Colts for deflategate. There is a video. And the league is going to decide what they see on it. I hope some intern wasn’t trying to see if he could focus in on the call sheets. I think this is totally innocent. But what the league thinks matters.

Spying implies they were doing it secretly. They weren’t.

What you infer from the word spy is irrelevant to the word itself. The word has multiple definitions, and not all of them involve secrecy.

More importantly - what does Sharks of Vegas think? :p

FIFY

Is it possible that the videographer is a Pats hater, did the piece on the scout, then shot the Bengals bench until someone caught on, then asked if it could all be deleted, knowing full well this would bury the Pats and BB?

There's a reason I used the word "narrative" in my post. It doesn't matter how silly it is in fact. Only the narrative matters.
