I'm going to the game.. My first pats game since the Indy 03 game where Willie faked the injury.

I'm excited.


Is Maroney Playing? I'd love to see him out there.

The America's Game '03 version is great because of the discussion they have with Willie. He says how coach always taught them (again, situational football) that if you have an injury, get down. Just because other teams don't know situational football doesn't mean the Pats don't play situational football.

From most reports Maroney would be able to play tomorrow if needed in a pinch, but may not see much time as they are liable to be very careful with him - -especially with Sammy Morris on the shelf for at least 4 weeks.

I dont think that Maroney needs to play in this game for them to still win. I can see Faulk, Eckel & Evans sharing the carries. If Maroney is not 99.9% healthy, I think that he should sit for another week. I think we win this game through the air anyways.

I actually want to see him play but part of me just wants it to be Faulk and I really want Evans to run them over. I don't really think we need Maroney in there when you compare him to our other options, and if it's going to slow down his recovery than that's just plain silly.

What i want is a bloodbath. It's supposed to rain/storm, so if it's a massacre at the end of the 2nd half and pouring, you'd think a lot of phin fans would leave. then we can get better seats and i can watch LeKevin rip some heads off:rocker:

This is what everyone said about the Cleveland game, then he was on the shelf against Dallas, so I am taking all such pronouncements with a grain of salt from here on in.
