To Everyone Blaming Brady

. For Harry you knew he wasn't able to get open in College, why should he be able to do so in the NFL?

That statement is complete and utter BS. It's been disproved by NUMEROUS talking heads as well as our own Draftniks. Please stop spewing the lie because it's not going to ever make it true.

Harry got open PLENTY in college. The BIGGER thing is that he could go up and get contested balls because he knows how to box out properly.

Did these clowns show the plays? Brady had time last night but nobody got opened at times.
Yes, 3 that I remember we're a skipped ball to an open Myers, an open Dorsett in EZ on first drive and a Brady airmail when he felt phantom pressure, and a back foot throw to burkhead near the sticks...good passes are completions

He should not have forced the ball, causing a turnover.

He should not throw deep to #11 when there were 2 defenders with him.

He is frustrated which is impairing his judgement. That is bad.

I do also blame McDaniels as he is the OC and the plays were just plain bland.
Yes they showed the edleman throw u mention...I think...Brady tries to hit Edelman 15 yards on sideline between 2 defenders and he had LaCosse WIDE OPEN on same side with about 10 yards open space

Ted Johnson and Phil Perry eviscerating Brady right now on Monday night Patriots.Johnson highlighted five six or seven critical plays where Brady had plenty of time in the pocket and rushed his throw because he saw or felt phantom pressure. Johnson also noted that Brady threw off his back foot many many times last night when he didn't have to.

There is an internal clock deadline that most pocket QBs have, which is a good thing. When they can’t find anyone in 4-4.5 seconds, they look to throw the ball away because often the routes are finished. You’re not going to see many guys covered for that long suddenly get open...occasionally you’ll see Brady improvise by motioning to a receiver to go somewhere, but that is almost always an incompletion or worse. The play is designed to work within 2-3 seconds. A more mobile QB may scramble to pick up yardage or attempt to draw a defender off coverage, but that’s not Brady. He’s playing his role the right way, which is realizing when a play has been defeated and not standing there as a sitting duck or trying to force the ball.

That “wide open” pass to Dorsett is a BS take. There were defenders guarding that passing lane and it would have been a near impossible pass. More likely it would have been another end zone interception where everyone is like “WHAT was he thinking on that one??? How didn’t he see that defender!?”

Brady played far from perfect, but McDaniels has done a horrific job with red zone scheming this season. The personnel doesn’t work, the routes are predictable, and there’s been almost no “easy money” TDs where the coordinator is responsible for outsmarting the defense.

Right now if a team can neutralize Edelman and Dorsett then they can hold the Pats offense to few points

The offense or defense can build chemistry and a bunch of mid level players end up playing great together after a few years.

You can take superior talent and have them playing great after half a year.

But they have neither great talent or chemistry built over many, many games.

Last years savvy veterans and star are gone. The rookies can’t ask Amendola or Hogan how to run a route.

These players probably can be good next year together. It’s just inexplicable that the offense was scraped together this year in this way. It was designed to fail.

There seems to be general anger today towards the offense.

The only people who are blaming Brady are idiot media pundits who want a headline.

Anyone with a brain realizes Brady's weapons and protection have been anywhere from mediocre to poor this season.

Mae have the worst reviving core in the league

Ted Johnson is a clown? You should tell him that to his face.

Brady threw his arms up in disgust after realizing what he did.

This is exactly why the Gordon release was so puzzling to me. He knew the offense and was a capable receiver. Instead, you replace him with a good receiver in Sanu who does not know the offense well at this point and throw in a bunch of rookie WR in Harry and Meyers and this is what you get...

Which is precisely why we can say with confidence that NE had concerns about Gordon off the field.

Insteas of edleman sitting on the bench next to brady they need to mix it up and have sanu, harry and meyers all rotate so they can converse. It's like an exclusive club and only edleman is invited.

Granted, Belichick is still the greatest coach in history, but this year's draft really blew chunks. And the organization's record of drafting receivers would have to improve just to get to dismal.

Even if Harry is a complete washout and several of the TEs selected go on to be HOFers, this draft class is still trending very much in a positive direction.

Perspective seems to oddly disappear whenever drafting is discussed.

The INT was on Harry, and you're trying to flip it to Brady?

Except that is not true as Chatham has shown on multiple plays with players (LaCosse and Meyers) wide open but other circumstances prevented completions. It was a highly reductive and misleading narrative from the NBC broadcast and people who don't recheck the game are just eating it up.

If you can't see the open players on those clips -- and Chatham said he found another 7 of those in the first half alone -- then I really can't help you.

And before you try to make this a black and white situation. No, this doesn't mean that WRs are open all the time but simply that there are multiple issues on the offense and not one prevalent one.

QFT. There is more than enough talent for this to be a functional offense.

???

As of now, if Harry's a washout, we're talking about Winovich and a punter.

That's definitely arguable. At least Thompkins and Dobson contributed quite well. Dobson destroyed the Steelers and Thompkins played great against the falcons and had the game winner against the saints. Meyers hasn't done anything and Harry is LITERALLY non existent
