People really need to watch the game film. There is no one open anywhere. Listen to the commentators and they will also tell you that no one is open. The few times that he tries to fit it in for a contested catch, it resulted in an int. We need more crossing routes to free up our wrs because they can’t do it my themselves. The times out wrs got open, Brady found them.
Except that is not true as Chatham has shown on multiple plays with players (LaCosse and Meyers) wide open but other circumstances prevented completions. It was a highly reductive and misleading narrative from the NBC broadcast and people who don't recheck the game are just eating it up.
If you can't see the open players on those clips -- and Chatham said he found another 7 of those in the first half alone -- then I really can't help you.
And before you try to make this a black and white situation. No, this doesn't mean that WRs are open all the time but simply that there are multiple issues on the offense and not one prevalent one.
