We Gave Up A 2nd Round Pick For Sanu

He could be playing beside AB....
Look for a “report” to come out tomorrow morning that AB could return. But once again, the media will lie to get clicks.

They "gave up" a first rounders for NKeal Harry...ZERO CATCHES tonight...3 games, 4 catches, 28 yards...great pick

Well, a lot of people did think that the trade was an overpay. Sanu has always been a slightly above average player.

He looked very soft on that play with the INT.

Slightly above average? They made a trade for a guy whose just another receiver. He looks done.

Looked great against BAL and the 1st quarter against PHL. He hasn’t been right since he turned his ankle.

Sanders may have been the superior option.

Isn’t he a week removed from an ankle sprain? He looked solid in the Baltimore game. Let’s see how he does in the coming weeks as he’s further removed from that injury before calling him done.

We were under the gun to give Brady someone to throw to, and overspent on Sanu.

What’s really worrying is N’Keal Harry. 1st rounder and cannot separate. You gotta be able to beat 1 on 1 man to man in this league.

He has a high ankle sprain. Healthy he is the second best skill player on this team.

He’s not an explosive guy. That’s the problem with this offense. We just don’t have many guys that can be explosive down the field.

Never a fan despite his production in college. What worried me was his lack of burst off the line of scrimmage.

Totally agree. Definitely need an infusion of this in the offseason. Sanu is what he is, a chain mover possession type. He can still be effective in this area. Let’s see if he improves the rest of the way.

I mean he’s maybe made three good plays since arriving.

Injuries or not, need more than that from a guy we gave up a 2nd for.
caught 10 passes against Balt...maybe you missed that...and maybe you missed how badly his ankle was rolled 2 weeks ago. The guy is obviously not close to 100%

Somehow this thread misses the obvious information that he is pretty limited with a high ankle sprain.

We saw what he can do against the Ravens. Since the injury you rarely see him work on the inside. The couple of routes he gets to run are usually to the side of the healthy ankle.
I don't think that is missed. Sanu is a good complimentary player. He's fine. He's extra doubly fine when healthy to boot.

The offense needs better than fine though. That's the point you seem to be missing here.

I don’t hate having taken a shot at Sanu. But cutting both AB and Josh Gordon was the real issue. Sanu doesn’t provide what either of those guys can.

No waiting! Lol, it's already out

I don't hate Sanu either. He is good depth, and is a good player. But a better player was available
