Bedard's being pretty straight up on this. Naturally, the team homers find this problematic.
But Bedard is who he is. He's a hit or miss analyst who focuses more on line play than most, wh'so historically blamed Brady for things that were the fault of other players (he's mostly not doing that this year, because the problems elsewhere have been so obvious), and who doesn't suffer the foolishness of Felger/Mazz particularly well.
He's not anywhere near perfect and, if you find yourself too often in agreement with him, you can bet you're getting some stuff wrong, but the O.P. is way off base.
