Sure. I guess. I was thinking if we knew they would get the ball back after a pass, we might as well get 7 pts ahead but you're right, the risk of something going wrong was too great and plus they probably thought clock would run out.
The chance of blocking a fg and returning it for a td is greater than the chance of scoring with 1 play from the 15. Especially vs Belichick the year after the Miami debacle.

I feel like the weather played a role in alot of the drops. it really was pouring out there. But that also helped the patriots defense as well

Fine, then spread the criticism around because he certainly wasn't the only one dropping passes out there, nor was he the most tenured member of the receiving corp dropping passes.

Edelman was playing hurt. People have talked about Harry and Meyers. Who else would you like to talk about when it comes to drops?

Whatever man. I'm not about to get into this with you. Good night to you.

Dude. That's the board record for quoting individual posts with a single response. 10

You seem like you are taking it personal.
He dropped the most and the expectation a receiver catches a pass has nothing to do with tenure.
The dude played the game he played. He made some plays, he screwed up others. It is is what it is.

I think Biffins is actually just doing schtick at this point. We have a few here like the one in my sig.
Some people have a psychological need to act out.

.

lol what?

I'm not taking anything personally.

Between Aikman and Jones, looks like blame Garrett time

Jerruh says this **** every single time. God forbid he ever point the finger at himself for hiring a coach whose priority is to please his owner, not to win. Hence, the safe bet of not going for it on 4th down.

I don't believe that, but even if true, the chance would be low.

They made a couple of nice catches, but there's no question that, overall, they were a real problem out there tonight. Having said that, the Patriots still managed to win, and the team should be getting Dorsett and Sanu back either this week or next.

Yeah at least the rooks got some experience and they should only improve. Although Meyers has had a decent number of snaps during the year now. Sanu and Dorsett back should definitely help. And most importantly, the sloppy play didn't cost us the win.

And that's exactly my point is you read my post. I really wish you would stop responding to my posts. We hardly ever agree. It's like you either go out of your way to reiterate the very thing that was already stated or make a point that has little to do with the post you're quoting . . . no in between with you.

Future Hall of Fame candidate Jason Witten?

.

I was a little encouraged by the offense today even though they didn’t score many points. Better pass protection and better running, two things I was looking for I seen. Think they’ll improve moving forward with a full arsenal at WR.

hah :)

So I am not allowed to be frustrated by sloppy play on a win?
In all honesty, you need some perspective.

Injuries to WR.
Wind
Rain
Cold
New LT
Merry go round at RT
Injured RG
Replacement C
2 rooks at WR
#7 D in the NFL
29,ppg O held to 9 points.

Get a drink. Watch SNF and enjoy the win

February is coming.

Please do me a favor and look up Hopkins stats against the Pats before you post the "OMG OMG WE'RE ALL GOING TO DIE" stuff.

2013 2 rec 5 tgt 77 yds
2015 3 rec 6 tgt 56 yds
2016 4 rec 8 tgt 56 yds & 6 rec 9 tgt 65 yds
2017 7 rec 8 tgt 76 yds
2018 8 rec 11 tgt 78yds 1 run -7 yds

And notice ZERO TDs, not ONE in six games.
Also look at the games the Texans have shat the bed.

It’s not that you “aren’t allowed”. I think the overall point some of the older posters are trying to make to you and several others is that BB, Brady and crew have had so much success that we sometimes forget how incredible all of this is !

I doubt any other fanbase would have so many detractors coming off a win to move up to 10-1 as reigning SB champs. Add to that the ridiculous weather and the key injuries to WR.

Frustrated about what ? 10-1 ? Defending SB champs ? These are great times.
