Why Wasn't Mason Rudolph Suspended?

How do you want me to find Roger? Did he or didn't he?

He made an accusation. He was mic'd up. The NFL investigated, and found no evidence of it happening. No player has supported the accusation. The accused has denied the allegation.

He lied. He made a serious accusation without any evidence to support his claim, despite all sorts of avenues available which might have picked up such evidence had it happened. Call it whichever you prefer.
Garrett was the one mic’d up for the game? Well if the tape is released and I hear it for myself I’ll believe he lied. For now I’ll just call it an unprovable claim. Nfl consistently screws up these sorta situations.

And if the tape's released that will only prove that the slur wasn't caught on tape. You can't prove a negative, most of the time. Generally, the best you can do is look at all the surrounding circumstances and come to a determination.

NFL investigated - No evidence
Other players there - No corroboration
Accused - Denies
Network audio - None put forth as supporting claim

Just asked Baker Mayfield about Garrett’s allegation that Rudolph used a racial slur and he seemed pretty stunned. Said wasn’t something he’d heard, including from anyone on the team, until I just asked him

I asked Browns DT Sheldon Richardson if Myles Garrett had ever told him what Garrett alleged about Rudolph in the hearing. Richardson said he hadn’t and said my question was the first he’d even heard about it.

Ummm... 'cause Steeler of course.

It only took a week to remember “he called me __________”
That’s because it didn’t happen. It’s a token excuse used by minorities to get out of something stupid they did. Kareem Hunt said the same thing last year although he said that in the immediate wake of him giving that girl equal rights and lefts while Garrett needed a week to figure that out.

Yea im not buying the racial slur excuse. Garrett looking worse by the day

Any idea what his trade value might be in 2020??

I applaud your courage going out on this limb as the SJW morals loggers are hard at work trying to chainsaw you out of existence...only a matter of time before Rev Al pimps this absurdity into another "Justice For Tawana!" crusade...expect to see Garrett tweeting all over the "Free Jusse Smollett!" account...

Also, as I recall, when he got up, he toward Garrett, continuing the incident.

IMO, if Garrett didn't retaliate (wrongfully), Rudolph would have been suspended. Why wan't he?

Well, Garrett did have his helmet. Also, his move toward Garrett wasn't really all that threatening; it's not like he was trying to punch him or anything. It is what 90%+ of NFL players would have done in that situation with most of them acting much more threatening. In other words, moving towards Garrett is a total non-issue in terms of either a fine or a suspension.

I agree with you that Rudolph acted improperly trying to get Garrett off of him after the unflagged late hit. Was this suspension worthy? Definitely not.

I see the Detached Logical Men of Reason have arrived with their NFL-provided facts.

oh..I get it...Rudolph said "get off my knee" and Garrett thought he heard "f u lawn jockey"...according to my official SJW In The Field Handbook..if you THINK you heard a racist slur, you DID hear a racist slur. Got it.

OK

It is not a suspendible offense to try to tear off a player's helmet, and then get up a move toward the player. I've learned something.

Maybe we'd feel differently if the Rudolph was going after Guy or Simon. Perhaps not.

He didn’t say anything at his press conference after the game, didn't say anything in the apology he issued, didn’t tell anyone in the full week since it happened, and only brought it up at his appeal to reduce his suspension.

It quacks
It is a duck

Players are suspended for actions, not for a guess at intent, other than for being generally aware of weather-induced football depressurization

I understand. Trying to tear off a helmet, and inciting a riot by going back into the fight are NOT actions.

As an aside, I certainly;y don't think that Pouncy should have been suspended; and yes the issue is intent.

Won’t be surprised if TMZ ends up with the audio tape of the incident if it happened.

Racial hate hoaxes are so easy to detect. 100% guarantee this is a lie.

Saying that someone said something to provoke an act isn't a method invented by minorities. Everybody does it.
