He didn’t see him because dorsett was his first read and when the first read is pork you throw to them. That’s how it works. The QB doesn’t monitor all 5 receivers and choose which one is most open.
"Pork"?

My first read (on a menu) is usually Bacon, so I can dig that I suppose...

Its wishful thinking koolaid drinking.

You people act like Wynn is Willie Roaf. Ridiculous. Since when has 1 player made or broke the OL? Never has happened.

So adding a LT that doesn't suck won't help much at all, but all this time you've been pushing a thinner Gronk that would be nowhere near football shape as the savior of our offense? I'm confused.

I'm concerned about Brady's 'panic attacks' out there......the Pats need to go back to Charlie Weis offense of 2001 and 2003.......don't turn the ball over and let the defense do its things

WTF? Ever heard of -- or watched -- John Hannah? In his last year, beat up as he was, he was literally responsible for 1,000 yards of rushing production. That's how much the fall off was the year after he retired.
I was alive to see the running game from 85 to 86 go to ****.

All due respect lets be careful about comparing the loss of Wynn to Hog Hannah.

His return will have a positive impact but I don't think it'll be of the same magnitude of a player like Hog joining the team.

I'm afraid Wynn coming back isn't going to be enough. Brady isn't playing well. Biggest example is on the backwards pass from burkhead to Brady that ultimately fell incomplete deep to Dorsett. On that play Edelman is as open as it gets and I don't know how Brady didn't see him.
That one took too long to developed

At some point we are going to need to be able to run the clock out at the end of the game. At this point we are not capable of running the ball to gain a first down or two. At some point I have to wonder if we see Harris start getting some carries to see what he’s got because Sony isn’t cutting it.

I thought the Buffalo win was worse, but only slightly.

Maybe, but this one was coming off a bye week so I expected more from the offense

Time to go back to Bledsoe I guess

If you really think about it, Thuney has been the only consistent offensive lineman this season (I’m basing this off of eye test, don’t know the stats for the Patriots lineman)

We all know what Newhouse is
Karras has filled in admirably for Andrews, but he’s just not that great of a guy to be starting
Mason has been way below his usual level of play (injury?)
Cannon has looked pretty bad at times

it’s hard for ANY quarterback to look good with that (let alone a 42 year old)

More Koolaid drinking

Like Harry the beast tearing up the NFL.

I think it's a little early to be judging Harry. Give the kid a few games.

You are only kidding yourself if you believe this offense is good enough NOW to win playoff games or a superbowl... Hoping they get it together ,but not so sure they can.. No Good TE that can play and block hurts them... Watson meh has had some nice catches but hes not the answer to the issues. Will Wynn coming back help As sure as hell hope so, but how much is he really going to help.. Guess we will find out.

If you have 1 weak link in the OL it has a trickle-down effect on the entire OL, and by extension the offense as a whole. This season probably hinges on Wynn staying on the field and giving them at least C+/B- level play. They don't need all-world play at LT, they just need enough that they aren't running give-up draws on 3rd and 7 because nobody from Belichick on down believes even the most rudimentary blocking will be there on obvious passing downs.

I feel like a lot of pressure is being put on Wynn to come back and be Orlando Pace. He’s looked good when he’s on the field but to think everything will just magically fall into place offensively when he comes back may be wishful thinking.

Lets face it, Brady is declining. He’s 42 and he is starting to look like it. He can still play at an elite level but asking him to do it consistently is probably too much.

Blaming all the offensive woes on Newhouse is ridiculous. I expect more from people on this forum to be honest.

Yeah he has looked awful. There were opportunities to make plays. But he overthrew it. He was very inaccurate. This franchise needs to find the next QB. And soon.

They had 1 hes in San fran now lol

your coach proves again he doesn't need brady, but it helps that brady can unload the ball so quickly and is perfect at not holding onto the ball, not throwing picks, even when he isn't at his best.... a decent brady is all your coach needs at this point. not sure if it's brady, the receivers, or a combination of things but this doesn't look like the pats who run up the score.

I think Belichick needs Brady a little more than Brady needs Belichick, but together they're the perfect storm. Brady respects authority and that fits nicely into Belichick's style.

The offense is struggling because they have no TE's, lost their center and best blocking back (also his backup), have no real long threat at WR, are just now getting their starting LT back (hopefully for the rest of the season) and have a 42 year old QB that wasn't very mobile even when he was 22. And yet, here they are at 9-1 with their only loss coming at Baltimore.

How about your Bills though? I've been pulling for them all season and now that they're two games back of the Pats that's a little easier. Once the Bills find their offense they'll be even tougher to beat. The defense absolutely smothered the Pats earlier this year.

Keep in mind, this is the THIRD GAME IN A ROW where the Pats are playing a team coming off a bye, and two of those games were on the road in two of the toughest towns to play in.

That ridiculous scheduling had to be done on purpose.
