Garrett drives Rudolph into the ground, long after the ball has been released and potentially injuring/dislocating his shoulder, and Rudolph is the instigator? Garrett should have been flagged/ejected for roughing the passer. Rudolph had every right to be upset with Garrett.
Garrett for the remainder of the year and playoffs. Plus possible additional punishment.
Pouncey 3 games
Pouncey needs to appeal, and win.
Full force, clean swing from a guy like Myles? Sure.Yes or no - a helmet blow to the unprotected head of a man can kill him?
???Full force, clean swing from a guy like Myles? Sure.
That's not even close to what happened though. Mason didn't even flinch or miss a beat holding his arms out.
Look it was a terrible scene, inexcusable. That said people are hurting themselves climbing on a soapbox & telling on themselves in the process. A football player went nuts in a game, I'm just not anymore shocked or outraged then when I saw Big Al, AJ/CF fight & none tbh "shocked" me.
Anyone close to football knows crazy **** happens in practice or locker rooms all the time.
Anyone that's played hockey has been in "boxing" fights in the locker room. Sometimes we'd use gloves/no helmets.
Obviously Myles took it to another level but again he's a football who went nuts & overreacted after someone got him fired up. Dumb move but hardly earth shattering news.
Mason's punishment and that of the Steelers is that he continues to play.I’m surprised Rudolph got off with nothing being the instigator (kicking nuts, pulling the helmet off).
Yeah, he’s Checkdown Charlie. He did earn my respect though. Big set of balls to go after Garrett without a helmet.Mason's punishment and that of the Steelers is that he continues to play.
Good point. My perspective up until now was that Rudolph at least deserves part of the blame for being the clear instigator (and what Garrett did was technically giving Rudolph a taste of his own medicine). But what Garrett did was way disproportionate to what Rudolph did, and there's no excuse for it.
I'm old enough to remember people calling Myles dirty before tonight. If im missing anything please let me know but this is why it's hard to take some of this "outrage" serious.
Some were calling him dirty for the hit on TS & a love tap to Walker.
