You’d be pissed as a 49ers fan? That was one of the more one sided officiating games in recent memory in favor of SF, JG somehow had about 4 game killing interceptions dropped, and I’m not convinced that was even the wrong spot. Also if you have a rookie kicker and have huge concerns, you could always attempt to get an inch for a first down.
I didn't start watching until early to mid 4th quarter. I guess I missed some ref blunders from earlier in the game. Saw Garoppolo's several near picks though.

Dueling banjos lol?

He's a generational dynamic talent. Make it work.
so was Michael Vick...and RG3...and Cam Newton...and Randall Cunningham..and Kordell Stewart...and, well...let's look under the hood of this hot rod of yours and see if it really has an 8 cylinder Hemi or is just another 4 cylinder 2.4 liter OHC

SF blew it with the clock at the end of the game. I cannot believe that the staff were not even aware that they were going to hand back the ball with 1:30 left. Ever notice how the Pats always have a first down run in these situations to eliminate giving the ball with time left. The Wilson adulation will begin to reach a crescendo beginning tomorrow.
BTW, both these defenses are very good.

I’ll get excited when Jackson has as many rings as Flacco. Let’s see him in a cold weather playoff game - did not go too well last year

I am no football expert but i couldnt help notice that jjimmy doesnt set his feet if there is even a threat of pressure. Lot of happy feet. So used to seeing brady just move a bit and step into his throws.

Gonna beg for help here. Can someone point me in the right direction? Or explain what happened with that turnover near the end of the first half?

Was driving and the signal was bad. Sounded like someone stepped out of bounds and coughed the ball up. I don't get it?

The defender stepped out of bounds but stepped back in while ripping the ball out of Metcalf's hands. He was ruled down at the 2yd line and 9ers just ended up killing clock after a couple of plays to go in at the half.

I would be pissed if I was a 49ers fan because that looked like a definite 1st down.

Instead they have to kick a FG from ~47 yards and it's a miss.
Refs missed a clear facemask on the wilson fumble as well...all fans should be pissed with the officiating tonite.

Mahomes is a generational talent.

Quick...name all the of the all-time great NFL QBs who were dual threats and busted out for 150 yards in a bunch of Super Bowls while also dissecting a defense! Jackson will continue to fluster defenses so long as he keeps up his Michael Jackson moonwalk abilities...the second he loses that ability (which always happens since this is a smashing body sport) he will reveal his major accuracy and decision issues. Right now his jukes and moves allow players to get massive separation like in college. This never lasts. How window is short, so he better win it all very soon before it’s over. Ask every other run-first QB who relies on his rushing to make the passing lanes open up.

Not a Seahawk fan but watching Pete win a game never gets old.

27.5 million for Grop .... they got robbed.

Of the three top rushing performances by a QB in a SB, two of them lost the game.

53 interesting Super Bowl fantasy facts
The quarterback with the most rushing yards in a single Super Bowl, however, is Steve McNair. He rushed for 64 yards against the St. Louis Rams in Super Bowl XXXIV. Only two other quarterbacks have rushed for 50-plus yards in a Super Bowl. One is Montana (59) and the other ... Colin Kaepernick (62).

Fran Tarkenton.

Edit: Actually looked up his stats. Tarkenton was a great rusher that for whatever reason never rushed in Super Bowls.

Not me. I hate seeing Pom Pom Pete win anything.

Great game! Glad to see Seattle win and Jimmy exposed. Did we miss the boat on Hollister? He looked pretty good. That TD on the touch pass where he disengaged from the defender and dove to catch the ball was impressive.

When I see Pete I hear Grateful Dead music ... the live in concert stuff.

funny..I hear the Looney Tunes theme...

But its Jimmy Baby.

He is still great. Hopefully there is post game video of him.
