Honestly, the constant “Boogeymen” crap from our defensive players was getting a bit annoying. They beat crap qb after crap qb and thought they could just show up last night and win. I hope BB knocks them down a peg.

So the patriots lose 1 game are still 8-1 and all u hear from the media is how the Patriots are done, they have been exposed, doom and gloom.

Did anyone expect them to win all 16 games? They lost 5 last year to crap bag teams, couldn't win on the Road and won the super bowl.

What is the narrative if we bounce back as usually happens and win in 2 weeks against the eagles.

This lineup of Philly, Dallas, Houston and KC looks like the makings of a media/critic sh*tshow

If they beat Philly...”well Philly isn’t as good this year as they were suppose to be”
Beat Dallas...”well fine, but can they matchup with AFC contenders?”
Beat Houston...”well they always do, and there are tougher AFC threats”
Even if they sweep all 4 and beat KC, critics would point there finger back to the threat of the Ravens

Sprinkle in a loss or two, and it’ll be more doomsday discussion. Should be fun..

What does the defense have to do to "bounce back"? If they give up 30 again, +50% on third downs vs Philadelphia we can start the "fraudulent" talk...we need to see a good performance, doesn't have to be "dominant" but hold them to low 20s and get off the field on third 40% or less at minimum...it'd be nice to the QB sacks again like they had in weeks 1-4 or 5....

I don't think that it is a matter of bouncing back.

It is a matter of
1) improving our run defense
2) improving our defense against mobile quarterbacks, and
3) staying healthy

Perhaps no improvement is necessary for us to lose only 2 games over the rest of the season. The offense should pick up the slack in a game or two.

That’s absolutely insane how many plays Arizona has run without a TE, and then our number is equally as crazy given how prominent TE’s have been for us the last decade.

Hey some guys healthy and gear up for the real season. Funny how people like to give the pats/fans grief for losing to the ravens

At the same time who would realistically expect a team to go 16-0 and this would have been one of those games you’d circle as a potential loss at the beginning of the year.

I trust the coaching staff to improve and that is good enough for me

If you're Belichick, what do you do to plan for a hypothetical rematch with the Ravens? Given how our personnel isn't the best match up, how do you overcome that? Would love to hear some X's and O's on that.

And if your answer is by going up scores on them and making Jackson throw - what kind of opening offensive script do you go with (assuming we get the ball first)? That no-huddle really gashed them at times.

I'll keep that in mind for next time, but I appreciate the response either way. I'll have to read up on the rewatch thread - didn't know the Pats weren't playing aggressive, I thought they were just being stifled by both the run and the Raven's formidable O-line.
