A lot was made of the fact that AB caught 4 of the first 5 targets Brady threw at him (or something along the line of that number). But not much was made of the fact he missed on the next 4 targets after that. The point being that AB wasn't exactly the panacea he was made out to be. If he had stayed there WOULD have been downs as well as ups one the field as well as off it.
The rest of your post was reasonable. This part is just stupidity. AB would have made a BIG difference and it is silly to suggest otherwise.

Yeah, they could've been undefeated right now!

Why is this thread still ongoing?

Because people keep posting in it.

He wouldn’t have made a big difference because if he hadn’t been cut that week he’d have done something soon enough that would force a cut. Rather lose him early when there’s time to adjust than have him fcuk up later when it’s harder to adjust.

Yeah our offense looks great out there!

They are undefeated and are getting Sanu and Harry in there tomorrow night and Wynn in 2 games.

Are you disappointed by the 2001 and 2003 Super Bowl seasons????

.

Yeah, the BAL game showed that not only is the OL a mess, but this team has a lack of weapons to go down the field. Watson had a big drop last night and honestly hasn't provided much at all in the passing game. AB's ability to get open down the field, but also get open quick off the line, would be covering up a lot of blemishes.

That being said, reading into Schefter's article on SEA taking Gordon over Brown leads me to believe one (or two) of the following are true

A) SEA was told that Brown would be put on the C/E list if he was signed.
or
B) SEA determined that there are other shoes to drop with Brown.
or
C) The accusers have solid cases against Brown.

Nope, it’s all HJ Bob’s fault. That’s why so many other teams moved in on him.

I had one foot in the "RKK cut him too soon" category and should've waited/called the NFL's bluff regarding the C/E list. But, all subsequent reporting shows that something is known by teams re: his status/ability, and it definitely isn't in regards to his ability (or lack thereof)

I think the best thing AB has done is added a lot of variety to GDT discussion. Now, whether it's a missed kick, a bad ref call, a failure to run the ball, a 3 and out, or whatever else, the same 12 people will bring up AB every time.

I love it!

I'll say. The minute all hope was gone the AB worshipers lost their collective minds.

Pot-stirrer.

While I would have liked him back, I’m withholding further judgement on that until I see what Harry can, or cannot, do for the offense and Brady.
