He also claimed this morning that the Patriots trainers stole the TD ball he caught from Brady.

Replies to it laughed that he was on Instagram a couple of weeks ago giving it away.

It’s going to be awesome when’s he’s back.

I have better chances of getting laid with my wife, twice in a row....

....and I just filed for divorce

Well, I got laid twice by my EX wife AFTER the divorce. So what I’m hearing you say is, there’s a chance.

The guy is truly dumb. You almost feel sorry for him. Mentally, he is still a teenager. Sad waste of talent.

Two things.

1. He has a new nickname - "Black-Man." I dig it. It's cool. It's fresh. It's hip. Very catchy.
2. He just publicly apologized to Kraft.

Black-Man is coming back to us.

What a weird saga, of which the Pats were the coda. This dude played his hand way too hard and early.

Hate Kraft all you want for the hasty release, but the media knew this guy would slip, and it was only a matter of time. If it wasn't the texts, it would have been something similar to Bennett (minus the unfit for the scheme part; that dude sounded off twice and was shipped out quickly. For a seventh). They were gonna dog him for headlines, it's their job. And by no means am I asserting the media had an agenda against him, they just will do anything for a headline.

My two cents at the end of all of this? Very glad Brady did not get too comfortable with him, multiple games into a season, only to have him kicked off the team. Also, that would've caused the front office to be less inclined to care about our TE issue until it was too late. Then we wouldn't even be able to get Sanu to replace him.

Well said. The signing was an epic mistake. The lucky part is that it all happened in September instead of December/January.

Dodged a bullet there with this wack job. He's not going to end well. Best to just get out of the way and avoid the shrapnel. Media whores are toxic.

The signing was epic. Period. Releasing him was an epic mistake.

I thought you were referring to the email he sent with the kids pictures looking for "dirt".

Still the one you referenced is still confusing. How does he feel blackballed when he hasn't gone to the league yet to state his case and close the "investigation". Even his dumbest adviser must understand that until THAT happens the league has no urgency to finish and then have to make a decision on what to do.

I wonder just how badly AB wants to come back. You should too.

He’s blackballed since the League said that we’ll investigate him if someone signs him. Meanwhile, noone signs him. It’s a collusion. He’s locked out.

Thanks. Yes, it’d be awesome if he returns. I wrote a snail mail letter to the Pats asking for him to be taken back. Why not?
Keep fighting your fight, man. If he somehow returns and helps the team, we’ll all praise you for the effort.

AB is doing a question and answer thing on twitter and was asked this question. He claims he was released because of the money.

Looks like he confirms the rumor Shannon Sharpe stated (who Brown doesn’t like) that they just didn’t want to pay him.

Shannon Sharpe has stated many times that Brown keeps refusing to talk to the NFL. Until he does, the NFL won’t allow him to play for any team.
