Prediction: Bennett comes back and plays increasingly well for us.

Things don't look great for my prediction now, I'll grant you. Bennett did not come off as someone who came in here with something to prove he sounded like he was going to be a malcontent.

But I'm going to dig in and just keep believing I'll be right and then if I'm wrong I'll just delete the thread and never own up to it. Win/win.
I think what I love about you most is your GFY attitude about “sunk cost.” All in!

I'm divorced 3 times, I don't really do the sunk costs thing in regular life.

Not the "embrace the team spirit" ethic we were hoping for. Still keeping an eye on the trade deadline and the possible roster spots for IR-return guys.

At one point, he said he likes playing in New England.
That’s really it. He likes playing in New England. He doesn’t like not playing in New England, and gets vocal about it. Play the man!

On his playing time being down:

"I mean, it’s always an adjustment when you’re not playing. I mean, just get used to it, but we’re winning. I think that’s the most important thing as a teammate, but as an individual, you always want to play more and make some more plays.”

Not buying it.

He wants out.

But nobody posted this though...How convenient. That being said, doesn’t bode well...

Just don't comment on your thoughts about group sex with Michael Bennett.

Why not? We know Michael Bennett doesn't perform well enough to get in the game.

Hopefully he becomes a useful piece in a rotation and makes it through a 16 game season with a chance to make a few plays during a playoff run.

Like all of us he can find happiness outside of work.
I want Bennett around even if he does not play tons of snaps. I can easily see him blowing something up in a playoff game at a critical moment.

Man, I wish someone would pay me to sit on the bench at work. I would find other ways to make myself useful (within the system) and happily cash my paycheck.

jerking off in front of a mirror is not "group sex", Fweirdo
Like Woody Allen said: don't knock masturbation, it's sex with someone you love.

Show him the door - rapido!

We have a good thing going this year. We don't need lockerroom black clouds.
We've seen this movie before.

The culture here is different.

New, veteran player is accustomed to playing consistently and being in a comfort zone.

New, veteran player who has a bit of an ego is having trouble adjusting to a role as opposed to being a key player.

Here, new, veteran player is not told how much or when they will play rather just be ready to play.

New, veteran player is frustrated with role and lack of consistent playing time.

Based on his comments, I'm assuming they'll have another chat w/ him and determine if hes in or needs to be out.
