Been repeated plenty here, but it’s still such a head scratcher as to how so much acclaim was put onto the Chargers going into this season. Who decided that the soft and finesse team who got pushed around to the tune of 41-14 in the divisional prior to garbage time was somehow leaps and bounds better for this season?

I don't know I agree with the onside. The reason you saved your time outs is so you can hope for a 3 and out. If you're going to do that, why not pin the Steelers' O as far away as possible so that they cannot punt and pin you in your own endzone, without your 3 timeouts?

I understand DB's get excited when they get a chance to return a pick but with 41 seconds keft in a one score game and your opponent out of time outs if you make a pick you need to go right to the ground. The only hope the Chargers had the moment Sutton intercepted that pass was him possibly fumbling the ball on the return.

Anyone else remember Troy Brown punching that ball loose on the int return against the Chargers?

The difference is Troy Brown played for a team that knew wtf it was doing. The Chargers probably didn't even realize they could still get the ball back hahhha
