I dont know if this thread is a good or bad tradition in the making.
The good side is that we keep winning, the bad is that the last time we signed Jordan Richards and felt a lot worse.

Oh Andy the contrarian... Better be careful.. you might come off as a spoiled pats millennial
As I said you can feel free to have whatever opinion you want.

Defense wins championships and we have a whale of a defense.

Way too drunk to guide you through this without baseline facts on the ground. Unfortunately I can't get those facts at this moment. My understanding is that for the most part no one on your side of the enemy position cared at all regarding strategic positions of forces.

We win begin big time because of this.

74? they were looking strong?!!!!?

It's ok.. I know you'll share yours and tell me what mine should be
What part of “feel free to think whatever you want” brings you to telling you what your opinion should be? It is literally the exact opposite.

That was they year Young Shmessy became a Patriots fan. The magic moment was the game against the Vikings in the old Metropolitan Stadium in Minnesota. This was when, even though they didn't win a SB that year, they were truly the best team in the NFL - the Purple People Eaters. I think the Pats went out there for either the 3rd or 4th game undefeated at the time and most everybody said they were a mirage (turned out they were and finished 7-7). But for one brief shining moment they beat the freaking Vikings in their building when TE Bob Windsor sacrificed the rest of his career to twist his knee into an ACL tear (they couldn't fix those things back then) in the end zone to win the game in the last minute. He never was heard from again.......

.

I remember this game so vividly.
Good friends and I bought seasons tickets when the patriots opened up at Schaeffer. Was watching the game @ SMU, with my then girlfriend at what is now UMass Dartmouth, Mass, and was so happy going home after that incredible, ballsy finish by Windsor.
Thanks for stirring up that incredibly joyous memory!!

Look, if we get there 2015 is the worst I've ever felt about being 10-0.

I totally remember that. And when I first joined Pats Fans I tried using “Bob Windsor” as a user name but had some sort of tech glitch ... so I just used my real name instead.

And all along I thought your real name was Gardner Minshew.......
.

Without a doubt. Lets review the season.

Week1: Squeaked by the Steelers with a 30 point win. It turns out that Roethlisberger may have secretly had an injury. And we all know that Big Ben is someone who would keep an injury secret.

Week2: Beat the Dolphins by 43 points. Sounds good until you realize Lamar Jackson beat them by 49 points the previous week. They also almost managed to score at then end of the game with their backup QB.

Week3: Things got worse here as some failures by their backup QB and rookie PR in garbage time caused them to only win by 16 points and fail to cover the thread. If the NYJ had been the Colts they would probably hoist a banner for their performance.

Week4: Truly pathetic. Only a 6 point win against an undefeated division rival on the road. Surprised the offense didn't have to walk home, and the defense even allowed a TD.

Week5: Managed to sneak by the Redskins, in a virtual home game, by 4 TDs due to some poor tackling that allowed Washington to get a 1st Q lead.

Not sure if it's the worst I've felt, but it's the oldest I've ever felt
:D

:delete: oops, wrong thread.

Regards,
Chris
