It might seem counterintuitive but assuming the Jete go 0-6, we need them to go on a modest winning streak to maintain mediocrity and fan delusion. The worst scenario would be a total crash and burn resulting in Woody selling the team to competent ownership.

I don't see Woody selling. Right now an NYFL franchise is a license to print money. As was predicted when the TV money increased by leaps and bounds many moons ago, teams can play in empty stadiums and still turn a profit.
