Please , please , please let's see a decent running game and give Harris a try ?

Tom is whining and I don't think it's particularly constructive.

Constructive or not, if there is anyone who has earned the right to whine....it's Brady...

And this isn't the first time either....I seem to recall him saying the same thing about Chad Jackson in 2006ish....not sure when....but Brady said something to the effect of, "Let's pump the brakes a bit here, he's only a rookie...."

Only two rookie receivers have made immediate impact in 20 years...Deion Branch and Malcolm Mitchell... oh...Gronk and Hernadez too....but that is a short list....

Is there any area (Special teams, coaching, offense, and defense) the Redskins are better in? My head says this game should be a blowout by the start of the 2nd quarter. The defense should be able to get some turnovers off them too. Also, 80% of the crowd should be cheering for the Patriots.
24-21 Pats.
LMFAO

It’s looking like Meyers is on a longer list, unfortunately.

Richards resurrection will be just like Chung and Collins, right?

Deion Branch and Malcolm Mitchell..

Yeah.. immediate impact is what comes to mind when people talk about Mitchell..

He had two games over 50 yards in the regular season. In week 9 and week 11.

He was great in the playoffs but calling that immediate impact is a bit of a stretch. If you do that then you will have to give Meyers and Harry a lot more time to also get there.

anything he gives us as a UDFA is surprising. People need to adjust their expectations for him.

Chung, Burkhead, Ebner and Watson all out for Sunday..

Sorry but deserves got nothing to do with it.

Whining helps no one. Tom is above that.

I am fine with I’m giving all of their injured players extra time to heal up. That includes Hightower and Jules. If you look at this Redskins roster and some of their absences/injuries, I simply don’t see a way that Washington keeps the game within two touchdowns, other than perhaps epically bad ball security on the part of the Patriots.

Feels like a semi-bye week.

He's 38. You don't want him playing tomorrow then again in 4 days. He'll be active on Thursday, no worries.

Forgot about the short week.

All the guys on the outs Tomorrow should be Ready to go on Thursday. Good Roster Management by BB and co. Also this is one of the easiest two games turnaround by any Team couldn't have it any easier. It gets even better Three easy games if you count the Jets.

Tomorrow, you’ll see a team that has given up on their Coach (Jay Gruden). He’ll be fired Monday morning.

I HOPE it's just Tom in a *****y mood whining despite the fact that it does not look good on him. Then again, he's human, not a god.
Worse would be that he's trying to send a message to the wideouts that he thinks they are NOT doing the required study and preparation work that it takes to learn the Patriots system and be able to be trusted to contribute. That would not be good at all, as it would indicate a possible slacker mentality on their part. Of course Brady and BB probably view anything under something like 100 hours a week as being a slacker.

I don't think TB wants to put pressure on the Rookies, there's 1 UDFA and 1 on IR. Meyer's was inactive 1 week and only played a few snaps last week. His answers are focused on taking attention away from the rookies and putting it on the Vets, guys that should "know their job".
