I don't really buy the hype on Diggs as a true WR1. He's never had a big statistical year, and plenty of WR2 over the years have put up big numbers, so it's not just because of Thielen. I think Diggs would be a great fit as a route runner in this offense but he's not a star, he's not worth a 1st round pick, and he's not worth his contract.

The only thing that would make sense for me as far as getting Diggs would be if they repeat what they did with Cooks.

Trade a first for him this year then trade him away for a first or maybe 2nd?

I could live with that. 6m fot a WR like Diggs for the rest of the season and a playoff push. Then getting back nearly or exactly the same draft capital.

I kind of like that idea tbh.
