Patriots Dominance Against Opposing QBs Is Staggering So Far

Needless to say, they’ve certainly exceeded expectations so far. Considering that Bill Belichick’s defenses tend to improve as the season progresses, it should be interesting to see if they’re able to somehow be even more dominant by the end of the year.

I will take what I can get however they have not been tested yet.

The giants game could be tricky on a short week against a rookie QB whose being hyped. Curious to see how he looks against a good opponent on sunday . Playing the vikings.

Depends what you consider tricky. Jones is showing flashes but there were tons of bad throws and turnover worthy plays in there as well.

My guess is he is the first QB to throw a TD pass against us but will turn it over 3-4 times

First time in a long time I can say i'm confident about our Def going up against all comers.

They are good, but Mahomes with all his weapons on offense might be a challenge too much for them.
Imagine having to defend, Hill, Kelce, Watkins, Robinson, Williams, Mecole all game. Barring injury, that offense will be impossible to contain.
We will have to do something to get Brady's with some weapons.

Well we had a most suitable one in AB until Kraft overreacted.

And the moment he cuts him impulsively, the injuries to Wynn, Develin, Jules and Gordon happen.

Bingo. Keeping that offense under 30 would be nothing short of a miracle. If the Patriots offense stays the same throughout the season, this could end up being 2013 all over again. Right now Gordon isn't even close to being a legit # 1 receiver. And it's quite clear Dorsett shouldn't be higher than a 3 receiver. Neither can create seperation.

Well Detroit definitely gave the blueprint on how to stop/contain that high octane offense! Our defense is way better than theirs and should do a much better job! The key to that matchup will be the offense! They'll need to sustain long methodical drives that ends with points (preferably touchdowns) while Mahomes is on the bench!

I heard one of the radio talking heads state that they have only played garbage QBs which is true but needs more context. They have held those QBs to ridiculously low QB ratings as well. 20-40 points below their short season averages.

stupid users make stupid posts. Jesus.

We have an elite defense. Elite defenses trump elite offenses in the playoffs.

You are really exposing yourself as a bad KC troll.

Not to nitpick, but the pats won’t have to defend all of these guys all game. They all can’t be on the field at the same time....but any 5 out there at the same time will be challenging. I look forward to that game!

Sad lot of QBs they faced tho

They have the #1 pass defense opponent adjusted. Not bad.
opponent adjusted means bupkiss. explain how that matters.

We faced a bunch of third stringers who may not have been able to start on some college squads. ANd Allen just tossed up balloons to the D Backs

PS. And Ben sucks anyway and he was hurt

It matters because it takes their suckage into account and creates an average.

Not that hard to grasp...
