The Patriots have receiver problems

I see a receiver underneath that would probably have been dropped for a 5 yard gain at best.

Yeah, anyone using that play as a supposed example of Brady missing things needs to pick another example.

Well this is very interesting concerning Cameron Meredith who could come off the NFI List as early as week 7 Hmmmmmm.

Do Patriots Even Have The Ability To Trade For Wide Receiver Help?

Pats could wait him out only three more weeks if his knee is doing well gives us another option. Meredith should be well up to speed with our Playbook similar situation as Harry minus the knee injury.

So this was the panic thread for this week, imagine if they actually lost the game.

Now the offensive line sucks and the WR talent is bad, funny how that didn't manifest itself in weeks one and three when we hung 30+ points and well over 300+ yards passing, and both times without Antonio Brown.

This team misses the blocking of Gronk and Dwayne Allen. You don't remove two all pro caliber blocking tightends and replace them with jags and assume everything will be similar. They miss them smashing holes open in the run game with wham blocks, they miss them at the end of the line slamming DE's blitzing off the edge.

This team is not and will not be the run heavy team of last year. They have to remain more balanced. Ben Watson will provide some much needed relief at the biggest position of need on this team, we could still use another TE or LaCosse to get healthy and become a better player. Teams rarely trade good TE's.

Tightends are part wide receiver and offensive linemen, half their job is blocking. Stop blaming the offensive line because Sony is ruining your fantasy football team, you should have studied the depth chart prior to the season and realized Gronk did a lot more then catch passes. The team should have brought in better players at TE.

We have a hipster problem too. Turnipscribe is too fat to fit into his yoga pants.
That's fake news. I actually am quite fit and do not own yoga pants. "Turnipscribe" -- now THAT is funny.

I hear Antonio Brown is available.

Oh here we go... The sky is falling.

"I'm not receiving you..."

Resurrecting my hope that a WR who missed most of the preseason and half the season will somehow internalize the Patriots “Receiving for Dummies”, be activated off IR, have a mind meld with TB12 and become a fearsome weapon by January.

We have an OL problem.

I saw Dorsett separating a few times they showed him run his route. That double move which he got a PI for he beat his guy. Could have been a TD if Brady lead him.

On the INT Gordon fought off his man and was actually open for a fade.

Several other instances where Brady could have hit guys but was rushed to make throws or was hearing footsteps. He was rushing everything. Timing was all off.
You are right OL is the problem....and don’t see how they are going to fix it right now....Wynn with turf toe....who knows when he comes back from that and how long until injured again....need to really look at more FA or trade

The receiver & Tom have flashed many games this season, and at other time have been non-existent. Part of it is injuries. Edelman and Gordon are not physically well. Some of it is the Oline crumbling left and right. Too many times yesterday I watched Mason get thrown back like a rag doll. Other times it’s scheme and familiarity. I’m not worried yet. If this is what we are watching come November though? Come look for me on the ledge.
You are right Mason is getting beaten or bull rushed frequently....really thought he was going to be good for us but starting to have doubts

31 owners would have strokes and jump out of their skyscrapers if we landed Jones. AB was an idiot but it's looking more and more like it was not the brightest decision of Kraft's career to cut him.

Dear Robert Kraft: go get Julio. Make it happen. Do some cap magic and get it done.
Krafty needs to pass the reins now....his decisions over past few years....most especially that deflate-gate BS....have really hurt this organization....

Deflate-gate and hanging Brady out to dry was bad. I'm not so sure that cutting AB prematurely wasn't worse. Again, to emphasize, if the allegations had been even somewhat in the ballpark of legitimate, that would be another story. I also get that AB did a phenomenally stupid thing with the text message. But stupid does not equate to criminal, contrary to what some media and some on here would have us believe, and it's just unfathomable to me that he would be that quick to cut far and away the best wideout Brady has had in twelve years, knowing where Brady is in his career, knowing the kind of defense we have this year, knowing the depleted state of our O-line and receiving corps...

Whether it’s Diggs or someone at more or a jag level, a move has to be made. Awfully risky going through the season with zero depth behind your main four.

Especially with the sorriest group of tight ends in football.

Don’t know what’s going on with mason. This guy was one of the best guards in football last season. Don’t know why he’s struggling this year. It’s not like he’s old.

Total receptions:
Dorsett and Gordon, 5
Patriots D, 4.

Total receiving yardage:

Rookie TE Dawson Knox of the Bills>Gordon + Dorsett.

I’m sorry, who won the game in Buffalo????
.

Don't fret - I saw Pats worked out WR Jazz Ferguson (Northwestern State/La.) - I hear Jazz Hands are good..
