I think Jeanty will get OROY because he’s going to be a 300+ carry workhorse, but Henderson will have a better career.
He'll get 300 carries and 1150 yards. There will be cope in December about how > 4ypc is actually good, but they'll get drowned out.

He’s a good player, and he’s going to put up some receiving numbers as well, much of his production will come down to how well their line plays, but either way I will take a better career over OROY.

Efton Chism III and Treyveon Henderson, two household names you never heard before

Sirrously, this off-season was already turning out nicely in terms of acquisitions, but these two guys are like the Fred Lynn and Jim Rice of football. In fact, they need to do that SI cover 50th anniversary edition with these two kids standing there in Pats unis back to back. You guys who know what I'm talking about, let's all three of us get a geritol mojito after the game sometime.

I'm at the "I believe" phase of pre-season. It is so much fun to see legit weapons suddenly popping up at the so-called skill positions. You know, the ones that you don't need the all-22s to appreciate, because they are actually catching or running the ball.

All that said, our number one ray of hope from last year, Drake Maye, needs to put a "wow" or two in the books or I refuse to put a longshot bet on us to win 9 games.

longshot bet?

It is the least long-shot bet available with the line at 8.5

He just reminds me so much of Trent Richardson that I can't get it out of my head. Except if Trent Richardson played a glorified 1-AA schedule instead of at Alabama.

I’ll take that mojito, hold the geritol. When and where? Murphy’s in Old Town?

I asked the question if Tre is the fastest RB McDaniels ever coached (as an OC or HC)? My guess was he is. But the answer came back as Danny Woodhead, running a 4.38 at his pro day. They always seem to run faster at pro days. Henderson didn't run at OSU pro day. He stood on his combine of 4.43's.
Edit: 3rd fastest was Shane Vereen at 4.49
Pro Days are usually timed with a stopwatch (by hand). The Combine uses an automatic computerized system. The general rule is to add 0.05 to 0.1 secs to a hand timed stopwatch reading to make it equivalent to an automatic system. Woodhead was not faster the Henderson.

Proving once again that there is track speed and game speed. Henderson is easily the fastest once the pads are on. And he’s a ***** to tackle, as the defenders are the ones to really pay.
That does not prove once again there is track speed and game speed. See above.

.1 of a second is a lot. I’ll just call it a push.

A very convenient New England Patriots meet-up spot! We'll pick a Sunday

Now that’s just mean.

It does for me. When I watch Henderson he is clearly faster than the backs listed, I don’t care what their .40’s are. And it doesn’t matter whether it’s combine or pro day times.
