The Patriots have receiver problems

Harry is unproven and Meredith has barely played in the past 2 years

Neither guy has much (if any) experience with the system or with Brady

Seem like 2020 options more than 2019 upgrades. Even if Harry comes off IR or Meredith comes off PUP (neither is a guarantee to even play this year at all)

IF this WR class is any indication things might bode well for the Pats and Harry. The 2019 WR Class is doing every well thus far and certain guys could project well in the years to come.

Gordon needs to loose some weight. I know he's ripped but he's heavy and for the types of routes he runs not ideal.

The Pats Offense is not use to NOT using the TE position so I am hoping Watson can factor there at least by catching the football. Of course our Run Blocking is going to suffer.

gordon hasn't shown much..people hear the name and assume he's still a great WR. He was slow last year and maybe a bit faster this year. Brady needs the quick types who can get open fast..

Zero cap space to do anything. Defense needs to win a championship. Offense isn't going to magically get better over night.

Our D has face **** QBs and Os all year. Tough to judge them yet.

Trade for Julio at ATL fire sale and their rebuild ATL sux
31 owners would have strokes and jump out of their skyscrapers if we landed Jones. AB was an idiot but it's looking more and more like it was not the brightest decision of Kraft's career to cut him.

Dear Robert Kraft: go get Julio. Make it happen. Do some cap magic and get it done.

They can free up cap space with an extension but it would have to be someone that’s making less.

Think the bigger problem is TE, to call the group jags would be a slap in the face to actual jags. This group is beyond useless, hoping Watson can contribute 2-4 catches a game upon his return.

Well apparently some people here think gordon is ok. The guy has to be more consistent. Dorsett as a number 3 is not good. He’s more of a 4th wideout.

Dorsett was getting double covered at times (or was the target of man + help over the top), because Edelman and Gordon were obviously struggling (almost certainly due to their injuries), And, even under those circumstances, Dorsett was getting open. Does that happen a lot to "more of a 4th wideout" on most teams?

Brady and the OL had horrible days, The TEs probably don't belong in the NFL, and Meyers isn't ready for prime time. Let's not go throwing the other receivers under the bus over it.

Yes and maybe some blocking. Still can’t believe we didn’t draft a tight end.

Well some people here have absolve gordon. I think jules is clearly not 100 percent but he gave it a go.

Gordon's seemingly dealing with a mild lower body injury of some kind and that hand injury from last week. Edelman's dealing with a rib cartilage problem. And neither of those things change the strangeness of your decision to go after Dorsett over yesterday's game.

Last year he was more of a jump-ball guy. More of the same this year. He can make spectacular catches. And he can play that desperate throw role where he jumps and out-muscles to catch the ball. But it's been difficult to open him with scheme.

How many snaps did Meyers get? I was hopeful based on his nice route in the previous game.
I had delusions of Meyers and Harry making up for the AB/Thomas fiasco..

Bill and Bob built this ship that is the 2019 Patriots offense...built w injured guys, incompetent receivers, a 33 yr old injury prone slot guy, no tight ends...reap what you so Krafty...again for the millionth time, this team needed Antonio Brown

Brady needs to be more accurate.

Edelman didn't come into the season with a cartilage injury, and that injury is not a product of age. Gordon didn't come into the season with his hand injury. So, as usual, the questions in response to you are:

  1. Why do you feel the need to be a lousy troll?
  2. Why can't you at least be bothered to troll well?
