Big Ben out for season

Rush says its the same injury that did Bradshaw in at 35 years old.

Evidently, Bradshaw bought a Myna bird to help rehab because they are supposed to be good luck.

Ben likes minors...oh sorry, you said mynas :D

Only the Sox pitchers can come close to such a sizable dead money waste
On a similar note, the future 0-16 Dolphins have $165 mill in cap liabilities this year.
NFL charity reach is vast

Ben should be done, Tomlin too.

wouldn't it be hillarious if it was Ben holding Tomlin back all these years?

Seriously, that isn't gonna happen, but I'd ROFL if Tomlin took Raymond deep into the postseason this year
Tomlin is a choke ...

Well if Rush says so. LMFAO

Never root for injuries but can't say I feel bad for that organization or fans considering the massive amount of sh*t they talk about NE.

Played for a long time, face of the franchise, won a lot of games, went to three super bowls and won two. That's about as good as it gets if you are not TB12.
Not to mention that the Steelers are one of the "special" NFL franchises.

His career is done at this point

I don't discount the solid possibility that he wants to hang it up or age+rehab makes it impossible to come back to good enough level of play. However, his career isn't necessarily done. It's all a matter of how much he wants it(effort and dedication to return) and will his body respond aptly (secret, shhhhh, suggestion for Ben: an androgenic + IGF-1 cycle).
Consider this: prior to this year :) the words 'a 42 year old QB can't win the super bowl' would have been all but believed.

He can sign and be Brady’s back up next year. after of course BB traded Stidham for two first round picks.

Actually this sucks for the Pats that’s how less tough games for the ratbirds.

Total scumbag. Watch how fat this fat**** gets now.

Speaking of tomlin, wonder if this extends his time in Pittsburgh, yet another excuse for him on what was anyways gonna be another crummy season even with ben.

Race to the bottom between Miami, Pitt, NYG?

*squints in Antonio Brown*

I mean we don't get to make Rapistburger jokes anymore, do we?

Well yeah I think we still do. So long as AB is still in dindu nuffin mode and the league hasn't said different we're good...right? I mean it's not like James White kicked you to the curb after those Tijuana accusations hit the net.

“I’ve been informed that I need season ending surgery on my elbow to continue playing football at the level I expect,” Roethlisberger said. “This is shocking and heartbreaking for me, to miss this much of a season and feel like I am letting down so many people. I can only trust God’s plan, but I am completely determined to battle through this challenge and come back stronger than ever next season. The Steelers committed three years to me this offseason and I fully intend to honor my contract and reward them with championship level play. I will do all I can to support Mason and the team this season to help win games. I love this game, my teammates, the Steelers organization and fans, and I feel in my heart I have a lot left to give.”

Ben Roethlisberger vows to come back stronger next season
