How does the 2019 team NOW compare to the 2007 team?

Edelman is the 2nd most clutch playoff receiver of all time, behind Jerry Rice. Brown is potential future HOFer. Gordon has HOF like ability, even if he doesn't make it because of his various issues and missed games.

Not so sure Edelman is better than Welker. 07 Welker was insane and dominated the playoffs.

Randy Moss came into the league in 1998. He set the single season rookie TD record with 17 and was the main reason the 98 Vikings broke the record for most points in a season. Your pre-2004 argument holds no weight.

Rice is the best receiver of all-time and it isn’t a debate.

That said, Moss is so different from Rice that it’s almost like he is still uniquely recognized as the greatest at what he did. As a deep ball threat, “downfield” receiver it’s Moss and then everyone else.

Moss was such a great pickup for the Patriots and his skill was rare. With that said, Moss isn't Rice, period. You could argue the 'ifs' (if Moss had played with Brady his entire career, for example) but on paper Rice was notably superior. I don't see, given the paper evidence, how that can be argued.
