Lots Of Decisions To Make This Week

Given the reputation LaCosse has for not being a blocker, I don't see much loss in keeping a big WR over him.

This. At least for now, I'm not seeing the advantage of cutting DT, Jakobi or Gunner to keep this guy.

The biggest concern right now should be the loss of Cannon, even for a few weeks, that would leaver Shaq as the only guy still playing the position from last year.

Tuney would do fine for a few weeks at RT. No idea what Endu…… can do at guard. But they went from Wynn, Mason, Andrews, Tuney, Cannon to Wynn, Mason, Karras, Endu, Tuney.

Plus who comes in if one of them goes down? You have to keep Ferenz on the roster, unless you bring Bozine back.

I wonder what the skins want for Williams?? that would solve pretty much everything.

1st guy I would drop from the roster is melifonwu...........there's no damned reason to carry 11 DB's

IMO...The list of inactives was one of the most talented they ever had...even without Van Noy.

Making room will be tough if it's Meyers or Gunner because they'll be scooped up but AB will ease the pain.

you guys have your binkies

Believe it or not, we don't need 7 WR's plus Slater. Gunner has a function on the team. Meyers does not.

This thread should have been moved to the practice squad the minute you wrote you would cut Meyers.

No reason to cut DT when you have scrubs like Lacosse who you won't even use.

no cap room.

I read he was OK pass blocking but drive blocking was kinda useless. Izzo seemed to get out there quite a bit last night. Looked decent IMO.

Devein was the one to replace Gronk as a blocker.

Meyers was active last night. He made an excellent catch in traffic and ran after the catch. This guy is going to be the future. Also, if Gordon falls off the wagon or AB gets cut, losing Meyers would really be painful. I'd rather see Thomas get cut than Meyers.

If you're really worried about AB/Gordon, you don't want the team to move on from Thomas. It's an illogical take to combine "What if AB/Gordon wash(es) out? " with "We need to keep Gunner over Thomas".

Imagine if they cut Thomas again lol

Gunner returns punts.

I wouldn't cut either one. Both Gunner and DT have more value than Lacosse. Like Elijah says, we don't need him as a receiver and he's not much of a blocker. I'd rather have Izzo as a blocker and DT as a 5-6 receiver. Gunner returns punts and plays on the kickoff team.

Until Cannon returns, Thuney seems the only reliable RT, and Karras would be better at LG than C. So I think Bodine will be back an maybe START at C. BB even mentioned the poor shotgun snaps by Karras. Ouch.

my picks:
Cannon to IT, Bodine signed.
Kendricks activated, LaCosse released or to IR.
Brown signed, DT or Obi released.

Lacosse is an interesting possibility. It would leave the Patriots with just one TE, which would likely end up being covered by some combination of Develin and a 6th OL.

Edelman returns punts.
Brown returns punts.

Punt returning is not an issue.

Brown returning punts would be fine. Edelman returning punts...risky business.
