Andrew Luck Retires from NFL

Andrew Luck is 29 years old and just had a pro bowl season and was comeback player of the year, who thinks he changes his mind when he has a year off?

He's done in Indy but i wouldn't be surprised to see him in Denver or somewhere in 2020, i'd be stunned if he doesn't change his mind it just sounds like mental fatigue.

Just came through on the Athletic per Schefter.

People are going to rip on this post, but it isn't that wrong. I wouldn't call him a bust, but he was absolutely a disappointment. Dude was billed as the next great, sure-thing QB, to the point that they bailed on Manning to get him. All for a guy who retired before age 30 having never made an all pro team. If you were billed as the next great thing, failing to be a top 5 QB at any point in your career has to be considered a disastrous outcome considering the expectations.

Such an ironic name you have Andrew. I wish you all the best. The Colts organization though can suck on it though
According to his statement, it was because he was “mentally worn down”. Lol this guy was drafted to be the successor to Peyton.

Tank for Tua on the horizon?

Or

Languish for Lawrence in a year

Wow. He was the messiah, the next Peyton Manning coming out of college. What a wasted career he had.

Repetitive. Apologies.

Lingering “calf” injury which always makes me think it’s an Achilles issue.

I think the Colts have his rights until 2022

**** the colts and their obnoxious fans. Their beat writers are dinks too.

Well, we absolutely need a shocked emoticon now.

Anyways, it’s too bad he never got out of Indy and amounted to much. Had so much promise but he Colts and injuries killed him. Wish him well going forward.

I hate the colts. So much.
I don’t root for players to get hurt and have to retire young. Sucks for the kid.

He isn’t a bust, he led the colts to an AFC runner up back in 2014.

like has been mentioned here I think he comes back and when he does the Colts may have to trade him to another team if they've already invested in a replacement

this may be a genius move on Luck's part to get his mind and body right and then start fresh with a new team

Maybe in a year or two he'll decide he wants to see what it's like to play for a real team and try to get his rights traded to the pats
