TE Ryan Izzo might be what we all hope Dwayne Allen would be a little more than just a Blocker I like what I see.
Hah! You're in for a rude awakening if you think Izzo can block as well Allen did for us.

Follow this dude on Reddit..great stuff.

Nah, I mean, I actually want to solve this problem. I don't know why this started doing this these past couple of months. The weirdest thing is GIF's tweeted say back in 2017 play just fine. It's just all these new tweets and I don't understand why.

I know these guys have to find content, but Price should have known better than to go with that. As one respondent pointed out, Stidham could have had something like 6 INTs if the defenders had better hands. And that was mostly against the backups and future non-NFL workers.

I was at the game last night - amazing seats. 50-yard-line (no pun intended), first deck (Pavilion Club) second row above the glass, so row 5). Bob Kraft has the seats in front of these, though I've never seen him out there.

The view was perfect for watching the whole field. My untrained eye leads me to the following observations:

1. Cowart is really violent at the point of attack. I love this kid. He makes the 53 or I cry.

2. Crossen is fast. I mean, really fast. He popped that punt away with a great adjustment and reckless dive. I think he sticks, and hope so.

3. Kudos to Brady6 for his early observations about Pennell. Pennell had a good play on Kamalu's sack - he buried the interior line all by himself, it seemed - so I hope he sticks around, but it's pretty clear he's not ahead of Shelton, and Shelton is playing miles ahead of last year. Going to be interesting to see if they keep 5 DT.

4. Michel looks thicker and faster in his decision-making.

5. I'm now leaning toward 6 WRs if Thomas is anything more than a shell of his former self. I don't think Dorsett is going anywhere. Brady loves him and he's doing a lot more out there now. Edelman/Gordon/Dorsett/Thomas/Harry/Meyers is my guess atm. Meyers will get there, but he needs a lot more work. Could be a real gem, though.

6. Defense is legit. Swarming. They were giving nothing easy out there.

7. Winovich can't stop moving. between plays, he was jumping up and down the whole time. He's a character.

8. Brady's lost nothing on his footwork or his arm strength. That pass to Izzo looked like a Joe Kelly pitch (except it went where he wanted it to go).

9. Jason McCourty is good. JC Jackson is good. Stephon Gilmore is great.

10. I'm amazed at how well bentley moves, given his thickness.

11. I was wrong (apologies) in mocking Gunner vs. Berrios. Gunner has more moves than Ex-lax. I hope he makes it to the practice squad. There's something there.

12. If I found out that BB asked the refs to call everything and anything on Froholdt, I wouldn't be surprised. The guy is a beast, but man, they're eyeing him like vultures on a dying wildebeest.

13. There is no 13. It's unlucky.

Eh, I've figured it out. It has to do with the encoding level of the GIF which Windows 7 doesn't support or some ****. I can disable hardware acceleration in Chrome to get the GIF on twitter to work. Unfortunately the same can't be said with Firefox which is really annoying. If someone knows how to properly disable hardware acceleration on Firefox to get GIF's on twitter in Windows 7 to work, please let me know! Thanks!

Why? There are very few games that will include even 50 ST plays, let alone more.

Sorry if this wasn't clear-- the rate is for any given player. 22 players per play.

I certainly wouldn't look for one from the Panthers' roster. Their TEs had a tough night, between giving Van Noy and free shot at Newton and dropping wide-open passes.
I've been skimming thru 2018 games and preseason games looking for good blocking tight ends and there's nobody who even comes close to Gronk's blocking. It's a real shame Gronk's blocking will never be properly recognized. It's probably one of the reasons he didn't have longevity. Real sad that his blocking will never be recognized for what it is. I never paid attention to how the tight ends blocked before Gronk but I have to believe he would have been up there with the very best in any era.

Anyone hear anything about Damien Harris? I remember him getting dinged last night.
It didn't look too bad if you watch the live clip again. He was trying to block a lineman I think? who hit him back to the ground. Surprised he got hurt looking at that one live clip.

1)You haven't found anyone to replicate arguably the best blocking TE of all time in preseason?

2)This is crazy talk. He's universally recognized as the GOAT everything when it comes to TE. Blocking included. I struggle to imagine these people exist?

3)When looking at the TE position, you never appreciated the blocking?

Maybe.. my thinking is that BB just wants to sleep, eat, and breath football, and how to improve in any way possible, and dealing with the press is the one thing that has absolutely no benefit in that regard. Just takes time away from what he wants to be doing.
I always think it's stupid and deliberate trolling questions to create clickbait articles that annoys the **** out of him. There's always times where he'll go in depth on a football topic which is awesome! Of course the national media never shows those clips.

This game gave me small flashbacks of the SB. We used abt 20 different types of runs & showcased a bunch tonight as well.
Iso/Lead/Draw, IZ/OZ, Toss, Duo (jab? If anyone caught one of Sony's I believe, its late) I know we used him in a few power runs, Counter ... I'm sure there were more.

Very excited abt the possibilities in our running game. Been talked abt but its a very impressive group.

Wynn looked great. Very impressed w how well hes able to anchor & the power he has coming back from the injury. Missing that block really isnt the biggest deal imo. He was there in a hurry, looks very clean when he's moving. No lumbering. Incredibly tough block to make for any OL. He's been almost perfect.

Said it forever but I love it when we send HT. Good things always happen. Looks like hes moving better. Guy just wont be denied when rushing/blitz

Mason looked vg & moved liked a tank that he is.

This team looks as balanced, disciplined & on point as we've seen in a while.

Edit 1
Oh & Crossen looks good too. Very much like the next ST maven. Big fan of him in college & the pick. Cant see him not making the team. One of many PTP identified before the draft

Edit2 Wrote this last night but fell asleep & thankfully was saved when I came back to the thread

Ah, ok. But then that does seem excessive. That would mean almost an injury for every 22 plays.

Just how good has our defense been through three games? I know it's presason, but . . .

Yeah, who knew they were capable of this without your boy Trey Flowers?

I was more of a casual fan back in the 2000's. Didn't watch football before that.
You missed out on the 90’s. Late 90’s was at its peak in terms of rivalries with the Jets and Dolphins. Bills were a 2nd tier rival and the Colts were tough with the emergence of Manning.

As nice as it was seeing the players in action last night, and as excited as I am about how the defense looks and how Brady looks like he hasn’t lost a step, my favorite thing was seeing camera shots of this.

As a courtesy, I'll let you know that I'm placing you on ignore. You're a bit one-note.
Dude, I’m just messing with you. You wouldn’t answer my response before and that’s why I kept asking. You laughed at me in the spring saying Bennett was not a bargain compared to paying Flowers a ton of money so that’s why I’m bringing it up.
