I think Dawson at safety is to replace McCourty, Obi at safety is to replace Chung and Ebner is not a safety but strictly ST. Not sure they are related.

ST will be very interesting because I like BB was not really pleased last year and is looking to upgrade. He brought Bolden back and we will see how he shakes it up. I don't have any stats but I think our 2018 special teams play was a bit down.

I agree, was hoping he would live up to his potential. Really a shame, SO much talent, from the neck down. Not saying he’s a dumb person, just saying he doesn’t have good football sense.

I’m thinking him and Belichick’s typical 2nd round bust at DB (Dawson this time) don’t make the team. Hopefully JoeJuan Williams breaks the 2nd round DB curse. He certainly looks good.

Greg Bedard insinuated last week that Pennel’s usage is consistent with how teams use a player who might be appealing a pending suspension. While I prefer thinking Pennel’s usage has other causes, I have a hard time believing something so damning to the player would just be thrown out there as speculation. Hate to think it, but I’m beginning to think Bedard might actually know something.

I’m not sure that I follow that, could you elaborate on what he meant? If you don’t feel like it no big deal.

I find that we haven’t heard anything about Derek Rivers’ injury a good thing. If he blew out his knee, I think we’d know by now.

Melifonwu is still practice squad eligible, and I think he’d be a worthwhile option there. Last night definitely increased his chance of clearing waivers.

I can see High and DMC not in NEP uniforms next year.

One thing to note I thought Damien Harris was a steal in the Draft and it's sure looking like it. The kid is more complete than we think also he's more complete than Sony coming out. Did you see some of those difficult catches he made showing off those hands?? Burk the tub better get healthy if this kid gets ahead of him on the dept chart it's all over for Burk. Brady is going to like Damien Harris

I realize it is against marginal players, but he gained extra yardage on almost every running play. Harris reminds me a little bit of Emmitt Smith, though he has a long way to go to reach that level.

It’s so funny you mentioned Emmitt Smith, I mentioned I thought there were similarities right after we drafted him. Great minds think alike.
