Here's What Tom Brady Thinks About "The Cliff"

I see Tom is promoting the clickbaiters too now. What an idiot.

As others have said. That doesn't mean he has to post it online. I am sure the team is using all of this internally all the time for fuel and motivation.

But whatever.. it is offseason who cares really..
Meh it's the age of social media, the TB12 brand, and some handler is posting this stuff. It really doesn't make a difference at all.

The question isn't what speed he has on the ball on a single throw in pre-training-camp. The question is what speed he'll have on the ball after throwing it 500+ times in games and who knows how many hundreds more in practices. Hopefully similar!

Unsurprising since he died nine years ago ...

The thread "Cliff" triggered a memory.

Kellerman called him a "noodle arm" last season

In case you were wondering how fast a football can be thrown by a human being

"Here we are though. Quarterbacks don’t get much over 60 mph, no matter who’s throwing. It should be noted that Thomas’s record is only for players who threw for velocity. Many top prospects haven’t done that at the combine, a list that includes Andrew Luck, Sam Bradford, Robert Griffin III, Tim Tebow, Matthew Stafford and Matt Ryan. Even so, Logan Thomas threw faster than Colin Kaepernick (59 mph), Nick Foles (57) and Russell Wilson (55).

Then again Tyler Bray (59), Stephen Morris (59), Drew Willy (58), Mike Reilly (58) and Paul Smith (57) were all pretty fast too. Brandon Weeden (59) and Kirk Cousins (59) were ahead of Foles and Wilson in the 2012 combine. And if throwing hard equated to on-field prowess, Jeff George would have been a first-ballot Hall of Famer."

Seriously? That dude is just trying to stir the pot. He can’t really believe the nonsense that he spouts about this subject. No way.

He actually said it.

What's more surprising? Brady's continued excellence or Max Kellerman still having a platform to spew his nonsense?

Even more surprising: Rob Parker is still employed by someone somewhere. Drool cups are apparently one of the employee benefits there.

Kellerman's job is to generate interest in his personal brand, thus the use of social media. He knows that liking #12 is "controversial" so he does everything in his power to denigrate the goat... similar to what Chris Sims has done recently to both #12 and Drew Brees... getting the fan bases all riled up is good for their business..

I dunna know. SAS opened up about his buddy Skip and Kellerman in this interview.

Kellerman just might be legitimately batshit crazy.
"Max is the kind of person that genuinely believes this is how he feels. ‘And if you don’t understand, I have to convince you because you just don’t get it, you’re not understanding. Because you couldn’t possibly disagree with me.’ That’s Max".

Stephen A. Smith explains his affection for Skip Bayless and struggles adapting to Max Kellerman

He won a **** ton of games during that “prime” and should have won in 2006 and 2007 AND dragged some pretty average teams much farther than anyone else could have.
Since Tom
Brady took over he has never played in 3 consecutive seasons without being in the Sb.
Non Sb years.

Did Tom take it down? (Or, at least as likely, am I just an old-timer who doesn't understand how to browse the Instagram?)

Okay but we didn’t win the whole thing so don’t get defensive because I brought up that fact. We won a lot early and then when we were expected to win we couldn’t do it, and it took being told the dynasty was over and that Brady was washed up for a fire to get lit under their ass and for them to go on one of the greatest resurgent runs in NFL history. It’s fine. Some players and teams live for the pressure and the lion at their back.

Since the old days we knew this team lives for bulletin board material

I LOVE those guys... next time you hear one, just say "Oh wouldn't that be cool? Then it's not over if TB retires..."

What a system, amirite?

You know what? F em all.
I've watched the NFL from the early 60's to today: Tom Brady is hands down the goat. And it doesn't matter WHAT offensive system he plays in, he's still gonna be the goat. He is really the OPPOSSITE of a " system" qb.
Let's dig up some old facts for those who've forgotten.
Brady has won the deep ball throwing in the old qb challenge- which was always considered the "sexiest" of all the qb events.
TB has led the nfl- more than once, I believe- in accuracy for deep-ball throwing.
I've seen him make some deep- ball throws in his career that maybe 4 or 5 qbs in NFL history could've made.
Wtf did he do the ONE year he had a wr that could go deep effectively? He shattered every mfing record on the books.
For the record, TB at his peak could throw a football farther and harder then Montana, the consensus #2. And it's not really close. He's always been able to zip Favre- like lasers if he needs to.
But he's also the best I've ever seen at leading a receiver away from contact, hitting him in stride, which does 2 awesome things: 1. leads to more yac and protects wrs from taking hard hits.
Brady has a cannon for an arm. Always has. But he's like a great pitcher, he can dial up 99 mph but knows you can often get better results if you take a little something off and throw 95.
Sick of all the false narratives about Brady. He would've been the goat in ANY NFL system.
Because that's who he is.
He's the Michael Jordan of QBs.
Deal with it, mfers.

.

I remember watching him in this off season TV competition after his 2001 SB winning season when pundits had him as a fluke "system" QB.
Not only did he win on distance but as the furthest throw he was closer to the target than the guys with less distance.
Flutie won the agility run by a mile but TFB was far from the worst. Memory fades.
