You know what? F em all.
I've watched the NFL from the early 60's to today: Tom Brady is hands down the goat. And it doesn't matter WHAT offensive system he plays in, he's still gonna be the goat. He is really the OPPOSSITE of a " system" qb.
Let's dig up some old facts for those who've forgotten.
Brady has won the deep ball throwing in the old qb challenge- which was always considered the "sexiest" of all the qb events.
TB has led the nfl- more than once, I believe- in accuracy for deep-ball throwing.
I've seen him make some deep- ball throws in his career that maybe 4 or 5 qbs in NFL history could've made.
Wtf did he do the ONE year he had a wr that could go deep effectively? He shattered every mfing record on the books.
For the record, TB at his peak could throw a football farther and harder then Montana, the consensus #2. And it's not really close. He's always been able to zip Favre- like lasers if he needs to.
But he's also the best I've ever seen at leading a receiver away from contact, hitting him in stride, which does 2 awesome things: 1. leads to more yac and protects wrs from taking hard hits.
Brady has a cannon for an arm. Always has. But he's like a great pitcher, he can dial up 99 mph but knows you can often get better results if you take a little something off and throw 95.
Sick of all the false narratives about Brady. He would've been the goat in ANY NFL system.
Because that's who he is.
He's the Michael Jordan of QBs.
Deal with it, mfers.
