“ Brady’s best days are behind him”

HA

I laugh at that.

He’s only won 6 Lombardi’s

Better days are ahead.

what do the Lombardis have to do with future projections?

I agree. Brady's best days are likely behind him and I wouldn't take him over someone like Patrick Mahomes at this point anymore. But he is still a top 3-5 QB and should be more than enough reaching our goals if other parts on the team are up to par, defense and running game. But considering the 1-2 QBs I'd rather have atm aren't attainable for us, I'm happy that Brady is leading the team.
Jesus, is this the passing of the tourch all over again? Lmao

QB terms maybe but the guy was pointing to the Chiefs being the next dynasty and taking over come AFCCG and that is/was clearly not the case.

I wonder how many teams have claimed they were the next dynasty during this run by the Patriots? The Rams, Eagles, Seahawks,......others?

I have not seen any slippage in brady’s Decision making or reading defenses or ability to deliver accurate throws.

What I did see last year was the worst receiving Corp in the team since 2006. If you took away Edelman, they would have been the worst group in the history of the nfl.

Give Brady legitimate nfl caliber receivers and he will continue to be the goat!

For 2019, you have to assume Thomas starts on the pup. Gordon on the suspended list. Harry and Myers are rookies.

That leaves Edelman, Dorset, rookies and various walking dead zombies. The early part of the season could be rough for us.

I guess the passing game will be similar to 2018. 30/10 is what I expect. If Harry is another Boldin or Michael Thomas, 35/10.

They illustrate what Brady has that no one else does. Rarely does a team win a championship in this era without the QB A) at some point taking the team in his back and being the difference in winning or losing and b) doesn’t crap his pants under pressure so the opposing QB doesn’t do (A)

THAT is what separates Brady from the rest. You can your flashy skills and big numbers. They do not mean dlck when comparing to the guy who produces championships. No he doesn’t win by himself but in a sport where a QB who can do it once or twice is considered a HOFer he is doing it routinely.
Until someone else comes along with the “winning skills” that are even close to Brady you should want no one else as your QB unless stats and flashiness mean more to you than championships.
