Congrats to you manx, you told me to be prepared to see bb take a wr in the first rnd. I still am :eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:

It certainly looked like they were targeting WR or OL in the first.

I prefer a more stoic and subdued response from a person when drafted and handling himself on stage. I dont know any of these men personaly but that doesn't mean that I won't allow my past observations to form certain gut feelings. It's a fine line between being respectfully unassuming and not using life experience to help equip yourself.

And yes if Darnold cried on draft night on stage after he knew he would be a top pick, I would absolutely question his ability to hack the league at that position and I would have probably written him off.

I mean, Gronk had probably the least subdued response I've ever seen from an NFL draft pick, so I dunno.

It is a long way to 56. The great thing is that belichick has the flexibility to trade up if he really wants someone.

Yes, there are some fine choices in the 2nd and 3rd. However, I am fine with 4 choices instead of 5, if we get another top player before 45.

Not a fan of trading up tomorrow There will be some good player available in round 2 and 3.

I admittedly know nothing about him. I'm hopeful he will be good, but my big question is this.... Is he smart? I keep hearing soft hands .. contested balls etc. But isn't the ability to think on par with Brady the first requirement of a pats reciever?

I know everyone looks good on highlights, but some of the one's I saw were WR screens and short passes like the the Patriots love to do, and he looked doing it. I saw somebody mention Anquan Boldin somewhere as a comp. That would be something.

The biggest winner in the NFL draft?
N’Keal Harry. He just became a future Sb champion.

Haskins sounds like he has the personality of cardboard.

So what were your thoughts when Tom Brady cried on his draft day? He turned out alright.

Well this is entertaining. A handful of Cardinals fans are convinced that the Patriots “stole” Harry so they can trade him for Rosen

Consider Harry a slightly bigger version of Anquan Bolden. Physical receiver, that will fight for the ball, and not take **** from DB's. Here in AZ they really wanted Harry at #33, and they have been chanting 'Larry and Harry' all day. Fitz loves the kid.

I like this pick a lot.

I am late to making the same observation, but in that video, it was like watching Boldin.

I'm just glad it wasn't a small, speedy, finesse WR. I'd rather go for a bigger more physical pass catcher.

Also, drafting this kid along with picking up Demarius Thomas in FA is such a classic Belichick move; a glaring position need that gets addressed in both FA & Draft to spread the risk.

I think of...
Fauria and Daniel Graham in 2002
Tyrone Poole & Eugene Wilson/Asante Samuel in 2003
Keith Traylor & Wilfork in 2004
Gronk & Alge Crumpler in 2010

Handful of Cardinals fans believe the Earth is flat.
We could trade for Rosen with one of our seconds.
I'd love to see Lock fall to our second that would be interesting.
Arizona basically has 2 Qbs to trade tomorrow Lock and Rosen.
