Why? The Patriots thought it was funny and they were the ones who actually won/earned it. None of us did anything to earn that. We were on the couch piling wings into our moths and guzzling down beer.

So I guess I should rephrase. The act doesn't bug me, it's that it seems like we're not gonna fix it (or that's my impression from the trophy case photo). If they're gonna fix it then idgaf otherwise it's just ugly

Yea I don't really understand why people have an issue with some people finding this decision by Gronk to be a stupid one. Not the worst thing in the world, of course the trophy will be repaired.. still dumb though.

I posted this subject in the Casual thread before this thread was created (I have since deleted it)...I didn't feel it deserved a thread on it's own...clearly I was mistaken. IMO the dent is not a big deal...it seems it's gone out of hand here with the personal attacks tho.

Yep which shows that a dumb player if they work hard enough they can learn the Patriots playbook. Let's hope Gronk or meat head is not the only exception.

No outrage. I'm just not sure what effect this has on your life. There are things in the world such as family, bills, debt, job security, war, disease, etc. to worry about. Some 30 year old denting a trophy that you'll probably never see and definitely will never lay a finger on seems to be pretty low on the list of things to care about. Especially when the team that actually earned it on the field doesn't even seem to care in the slightest.

I imagine if the Patriots were actually upset about it then they wouldn't have made this video celebrating what happened. It's pretty funny -- just adds to the legend of Gronk.
