2018-19 Stanley Cup - Bruins vs Blues

I don't need to speak for myself. The video speaks for me.
It speaks against you. This is not how you throw a hit in hockey.

You should know better than to take individual pics out of context as proof of bad intent in hockey. Are you a Toronto fan, or just bad at this?

Speak for yourself. You're lying to yourself if you don't believe that was a knee on knee hit.
I believe DeBrusk was going for a check there for sure, but at the last minute Kadri tried to move out of the way which resulted in their two knees catching each other. As Deus says, not sure what you were watching there...I thought the stantion hit was the most questionable by DeBrusk, but as you said, all he broke there was an unwritten rule.

The 'stantion' (lmao) convo is pointless and absurd since there's no longer a stanchion in place at the end of the player bench and hasn't been since @ 2012 when curved spring tensioned plexi eliminated the stantion and 90° corner players were being seriously hurt getting run into. Since the elimination of that edge we have been seeing exactly what we saw the other night, players bouncing off and getting right up. The knee to knee hit was a direct result of Kadri trying to sidestep the hit, any single frame shot of it is at best disingenuous.

DeBrusk should be suspended. Flying elbow to the face and a flying knee-on-knee hit. Both uncalled and ultimately the cause of things boiling over. Regardless, Kadri is indeed a scumbag.

Also, the hit on Marleau looked innocent but it's an unwritten rule you don't hit a guy in to the stantion. He lined it up the entire way.
LMFAO

This is actually really good trolling. You are trolling us, aren't you? You took two screenshots right when Kadri sidestepped the hit causing him to go flying. Both maust and I pointed this out in our original posts. Go watch the full replay. There is not an ounce of dirtiness in this and Kadri can blame himself for his spill. Too bad he's too big of a ****y and tried to avoid the hit which caused him to look like a flying ballerina.

Prior to those two, the Celtics down 3-1 to Philly in the 1981 East Conf finals was the best.. Now it is third in my comeback list....
They were down like 6 with less than 2 minutes left in game 5 or 6 I believe.

game 5 in Anaheim vs the angels alcs 1986. dave Henderson goes deep in the 9th to tie the game. the sox down 3 to 1 come back and win in 7. that's got to be on the list somewhere.
Down 5-2 entering the 9th. Was it not Baylor that hit the first 2 run homer?

that's a good question. I should remember. all i see is Henderson jumping up then limping around the bases. but i think it was baylor who put them ahread.

Henderson put them ahead, Baylor made it 5-4. Angels made it 6-6 in the 9th - Sox got out of bases loaded, 1 out jam in the 9th. Henderson won it in the 11th with a sac fly.

Nope, Henderson's homer game them the lead.. poor Gene Mauch (Angels manager who managed the Phillies in '64 when they collapsed ) looked shellshocked...

Wow this has gotten way off topic.

Realized he never was going to go to the World Series (never did)

Debrusk’s father was a goon too when he played. Not surprised

I really enjoy reading the first post and then the last page of long threads.

Slow day at work.....
Should Tampa get eliminated , I would like to see the updated odds.....

Boston should beat Toronto and then Columbus. Not sure if they can beat Washington or NYI though...
